Box Office: 'Beast' Fourth Day Early Estimates

Chennai, April 16 - Thalapathy Vijay's "Beast" is nearing the 100 crores net mark at the domestic box office for all languages.

The Nelson Dilipkumar-directed got hit with the mixed reviews and an onslaught of KGF Chapter 2 but maintained a steady trend over the opening weekend. On its 4th day, the movie collects approx. 14 crores net, pushing net cume to 99.85 crores. It might score 100 crores in 4 days itself which remains to see.

"Beast" took the historic opening in Tamil Nadu by becoming the highest opening day grosser in the state. It made 32.50 crores on the first day in the home state, beating Thalapathy's own "Sarkar" (30.15 cr.).

Overall, it had grossed 57.40 crores on the first day, followed by 24 crores gross on the second day and 18.40 crores on its 3rd day. With today's collection, it has crossed the 100 crores gross mark domestically, and 150 crores worldwide.
