Box Office: 'Beast' Third Day Early Estimates

Chennai, April 15 - Thalapathy Vijay's "Beast" maintains a good hold at the ticket window on the 3rd day.

The action thriller, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is heading towards the 100 crores net mark after scoring an estimated 15 crores on the 3rd day (Friday). This takes the film to 85+ crores net, and the 100 crores mark could be breached by Saturday itself.

"Beast" took the historic opening in Tamil Nadu by becoming the highest opening day grosser in the state. It made 32.50 crores on the first day in the home state, beating Thalapathy's own "Sarkar" (30.15 cr.). Overall, it had grossed 57.40 crores, followed by 24 crores gross on the second day.

Overseas, the film has grossed over 35+ in the first 3 days, pushing worldwide gross cume to 135+ scores. The movie has received mixed responses from critics and audiences alike which could slow down its speed after the long first weekend.
