Box Office: KGF Chapter 2 First Sunday All India Early Estimates

Bengaluru, April 17 - KGF Chapter 2 is on a heroic box office run and this is not going to stop anytime soon.

The Yash-fronted movie, which waited for almost two years to get in the theaters, scored 400 crores worldwide in the first 3 days. On the first Sunday (4th day), the movie scored another approx. 106 crores gross domestically to take the movie past 500 crores worldwide on the 4-day opening weekend itself.

While other versions are performing strongly, it is the Hindi dubbed version that is going insane and recording never-seen-before numbers at the box office. It scored 143.64 crores net in the first 3 days, which is already the biggest ever 3-day cume in Hindi.

On Sunday, it exploded again as early estimates suggest 51 crores net (59.50 cr. gross). This takes the 4 days Hindi cume to a sensational 194 crores net (228 cr. gross). It will break into 200 crores net club on Monday to become the fastest ever to get there.

Meanwhile, the 4th day's AP/TG gross of KGF 2 came approx. 15 crores, including 9.50 crores share collection. This takes 3 days AP/TG gross to around 81 crores, including over 51 crores share. In Karnataka, the movie scored 15 crores gross as per early estimates for 71+ total gross, which is the highest ever weekend total in the state.

Tamil Nadu contributed another approx. 9.50 crores gross for 34+ crores total while gross collection in Kerala crossed record-breaking 27 crores after approx. 7.50 crores on its 4th day. Overall, the total domestic gross reaches 440+ crores gross, including 4th Sunday estimates. Overseas, it scored approx. 65 crores in the first 3 days.
