Box Office: Laal Singh Chaddha First Monday Early Estimate

Mumbai, August 15 - Laal Singh Chaddha, on its first Monday, is heading towards a similar day as Friday with a little growth. The collections, however, have dropped by around 25% from Sunday for an estimated 7.50 crores net. Nonetheless, it witness a big drop considering the collections of Sunday itself were low and today was a mass national holiday in the form of Independence day so the collections at least should have been in the same range but that could not happen.

The first Monday collections will take the entire collections of Laal Singh Chaddha to a little over 45cr net box office mark which are shocking collections considering the standards of Aamir Khan who is a bonafide star. The extended five-day weekend should have been 75cr net mark at least but the film has missed the target by around 30cr which pretty much tells you about the rejection of the film.

The film will see a further drop from tomorrow onwards and might even struggle to hit 4-5cr daily collections. Tuesday collections will decide whether the final lifetime collections of Laal Singh Chaddha are going to land. At the moment it is looking like a 75-80cr finish but as we said we have to wait for tomorrow to see the drop.

The lifetime collection is unlikely to change the verdict of Laal Singh Chaddha as the fate was pretty much sealed on the first day itself. It will be a back-to-back disaster for Aamir Khan who gave some monster super blockbusters in the late 2000s and early 2010s. This is the first time in this century that Aamir Khan is in such a bad situation at the box office and he needs one mega grosser to bring back his position now.
