Box Office: Laal Singh Chaddha First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 13 - Laal Singh Chaddha gets a decent jump on the first Saturday for an estimated 9 crores net, though the damage has already been done with the first two days recording very dull collections. The good thing is that the film did not drop further which gives the film a chance to score a respectable collection in the final run.

The jump is although is not huge or anywhere even close to it but as Saturdays record best collections for a film that caters to premium multiplex audiences, The collections of Laal Singh Chaddha got some boost in the evening and night shows. The film is doing average business in major metros but completely washout in Tier2 and Tier3 cities which is rare for an Aamir Khan starrer.

The early estimate collections are set to be around 9cr net box office collections which will push the total collections of the film to a little under 28cr net mark. These are very low collections, especially because the film stars a star like Aamir Khan who is one of the biggest box office draws of all time.

East Punjab and Delhi-NCR continue to perform for Laal Singh Chaddha due to local flavor. Except for these two circuits rest, all are recording awful collections, to say the least. The next two days are huge mass national holidays and the film should record big collections.
