Gangubai Kathiawadi Day 1 Early Estimates

Mumbai, Feb 25, 2022: Alia Bhatt fronted Gangubai Kathiawadi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been released today. The film took a decent start in the morning shows though Mumbai and Gujarat recorded good occupancy as the film caters more to these states.

Going by early estimates, Gangubai Kahthiawadi is heading for an 8 Cr plus first-day number which will be big in this type of box office situation that too for a film that is driven by a female.

The exact number will land by tomorrow morning but one thing is sure Gangubai Kathiawadi will be among the Top openers ever of Alia Bhatt. There is an outside chance of a double-digit first day as well but for that, nights shows in all the major metros should have to outperform themselves.


The best performance of the film came in Maharashtra and Gujarat which was expected. The film is also doing decent business in other big cities like Delhi/NCR too.
