Gangubai Kathiawadi Has A Good Advance In The Maharashtra Region

Mumbai, Feb 24, 2022: The much-awaited Sanjay Leela Bhansali magnum-opus Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt in a titular character is all set for a grand release tomorrow. The advance booking of the film was started a few days back and the film has garnered a good chunk of advance in the Maharashtra region.

The film gives the feeling of a regional Maharashtra-based film and that is the reason why the advance booking of the film is good in this state and below average elsewhere. Gujarat is also strong due to the film catering to the state audience.


The big plus of the film is it has a hugely popular heroine in the form of Alia Bhatt who is popular in masses outside the Maharashtra and Gujarat belt too. Ajay Devgn is also playing an extended guest appearance in the film which can give the film some sort of face value in mass centres.


The overall advance of the film is not a huge number but it is better than recent past movies. The film will be dependent on content and appreciation for succeeding.
