Pat Cummins, Australia's 24-year pacer, has been ruled out from the Indian Premier League 2018 with a back injury. Steve Smith and David Warner Who were involved in the recent ball-tampering saga and banned by Cricket Australia, will also not allowed to play in IPL this year, BCCI confirmed through a media release, on Wednesday (March 28).## The decision was made by the Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators, in consultation with the BCCI acting President CK Khanna, IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla, and BCCI Acting Hon.Secretary Amitabh Chaudhary. This decision leaves a huge vacuum in both the Royals and Sunrisers camp, as both were main players for their respective teams. Dinesh Karthik has been named Captain of Kolkata Knight Riders for Vivo Indian Premier League 2018, the franchise announced on Sunday(March 4). Dinesh Karthik was Picked by Knight Riders in INR 7.4 Crore. He has been one of the finest Players in Indian Premier League over the years.
