Thalaivii Review: Kangana Ranaut's 'Thalaivii' Critics Reviews Are Out!

Mumbai, September 9, 2021: The biopic of late actress and politician, J. Jayalalithaa has been a talk of the town ever since it was announced. The supremely talented and versatile actress, Kangana Ranaut plays the role of Jayalalitha in her biopic, titled "Thalaivii".## Directed by A. L. Vijay and produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Shailesh R Singh, and Brinda Prasad, "Thalaivii" is all set to release in theaters on 10 September in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. Director Shankar's Daughter, Aditi Shankar Paired Opposite Karthi In Her Debut Film 'Viruman'

Chennai, September 6, 2021: Actor Karthi had teamed up with director Muthaiaya once again for his next Tamil movie, titled "Viruman". hThe duo had previously collaborated for an action drama film, Komban in 2015. The rural entertainer, Viruman, will be produced by Karthi's brother Suriya and Jyotika under their banner 2D Entertainment.## Acclaimed director Shankar's daughter, Aditi Shankar, has been paired opposite Karthi in "Viruman". It marks the younger daughter of Shankar's film debut. The movie also stars Prakash Raj and Soori in key roles. Thala Ajith's Valimai Shoot Wrapped Up In Russia!

Chennai, August 25, 2021: South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni made her Hindi debut with Raj & DK's web series, The Family Man 2. While the actress received global appreciation for her act, she also came under serious criticism for portraying a Tamil rebellion called Razi in the Amazon Prime Video series. ## The Tamil Nadu government had urged the Centre to ban the show after the trailer was released. Tamil Nadu's IT Minister T Mano Thangaraj had written a letter that said that the series "not only hurt the sentiments of Eelam Tamils but also the feelings of the people of Tamil Nadu". The actress faced accusations for negatively portraying the Tamil Eelam.## However, after the show was released, many people changed their mind and appreciate Samantha for playing that role. But she is continuing to receive criticism from a certain group of people which led the actress to apologizes to them for unintentionally hurting their sentiments. ## Without addressing the topic herself but responding to the criticism, the Majili actress said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, "I allow people to have their own opinions. If they decided to stay with that opinion, I am very sorry for hurting anyone's sentiments. Chennai, August 8, 2021: Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for his next film, Beast. The actioner is being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar while Kalanithi Maaran is bankrolling this biggie under his banner Sun Pictures. D44: Sun Pictures Announces The Stellar Star Cast For Mithran Jawahar Directorial

Chennai, August 5, 2021: Dhanush is gearing up to start shooting for his next film, referred as #D44, with director Mithran Jawahar. The movie will be produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. The film, expected to be a family drama with its share of romance, will mark the fourth collaboration between the director and the actor, after Yaaradi Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran. ## The story is set in two time periods — the protagonist's college days and his adulthood. Dhanush has two love interests, one during the college portions and another for the latter part of the hero's life. #D44 will have music by Anirudh, who will be joining hands with Dhanush after five years.## The title of D44 will be announced on August 5 at 6 PM. Meanwhile, a day before the title announcement, Sun Pictures introduced the stellar star cast of D44. The Mission Mangal actress, Nithya Menon has been roped in to play one of the female leads. She will be sharing screen space with Dhanush for the first time, and she is likely to be paired opposite his character in the post-college portions. ## Raashii Khanna has also been roped in to play an important role. There were rumors that Hansika might be pairing up with Dhanush after 2011's Maappillai, however, the makers have finally roped in Raashi for this multi-starrer. The National Award-winning actor, Prakash Raj, has also been confirmed to be acting alongside Dhanush for the third time, after Thiruvilayadal Aarambam (2006), and Asuran (2019).## Priya Bhavani Shankar, who will be starring in Kamal Haasan's much-awaited, Indian 2, is confirmed in D44, and likely to be seen in the college portions in the film. The veteran actor, Bharathirajaa, is another actor who comes on board for D44. He will be acting alongside Dhanush for the first in this film. ## Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently shooting for director Karthick Naren's "Maaran".
