Tom Hardy's 'Venom: The Last Dance' Box Office Projection Revealed
Los Angeles, September 28 - Tom Hardy-led superhero movie Venom: The Last Dance is gearing up for the release on October 25 as the last film of the Venom franchise. The movie is directed by Kelly Marcel and is a part of Sony's Spider-Man universe. ## With under a month to go before the release, Venom: The Last Dance is tracking to be the biggest opener in the franchise. According to the projection by Box Office Pro, Venom 3 is headed towards taking the opening of $80 million - $120 million at the domestic opening weekend. ## The first two films of this anti-hero franchise opened with approximately $10 million apart - $80.20 million for 2018's Venom and $90 million for 2021's Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Venom 3, as per the early projections, is in the position to take the biggest start of the franchise and it can do it with a fair margin. ## Both, Venom and Venom - Let There Be Carnage finished their domestic run with an almost identical total of $213.51 million and $213.55 million, respectively. Here, Box Office Pro has projected a $250 million - $300 million range lifetime domestic gross collection. ## It is worth noting that Venom 2 was released during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic so there was a possibility it could have done much better in a normal scenario. Venom 3 is expected to get the benefit of being the final film of the franchise which has been incredibly popular among the superhero movie fans. ## Venom 3 is the fifth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU). It stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Venom alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
