Hyderabad, September 14 - Tamil star Dhanush's one of the most-anticipated films Naane Varuvean is getting ready for its worldwide release on September 29th. Box Office: Thiruchitrambalam Races Past 100 Crores Worldwide To Emerge Biggest Grosser For Dhanush

Chennai, August 30 - Tamil star Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam has performed exceptionally well at the box office, as a result, it has raced past the 100 crores mark worldwide. Directed by Mithran R Jawahar, the romantic comedy-drama film has become the first for Dhanush to achieve this box office milestone. ## "Thiruchitrambalam" scored a fantastic 50.45 crores in the opening week and continues to mint money in the second week as well, taking a total net collection to 65.47 crores after 12 days. The movie has been excellent in the international markets too, grossing approx. 23 crores, for worldwide cum total to approx. 101 crores. ## The film has overtaken Dhanush's Bollywood debut film "Raanjhanaa", which was previously the highest-grossing film of his career with approx. 94 crores worldwide. "Thiruchitrambalam" is also reportedly the highest-grossing film for the actor in Tamil Nadu with 68.38 crores gross. ## Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, "Thiruchitrambalam" opened to very positive reviews while the audience's word of mouth is also super strong. The shoot of the film was wrapped up a long time back in October 2021, but the makers paused the post-production due to the covid-19. Chiyaan Vikram Provides Basic Plot Details of Much-Awaited 'Cobra'

Hyderabad, August 29 - Versatile Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up for the release of his long-awaited film Cobra, which is scheduled to release on August 31 in Tamil and Telugu. The film marks Vikram's return to the big screen after almost three years and he is looking to make it big by going all out with the promotion. ## The "Cobra" team promoted the film in Hyderabad for the Telugu version. During the Hyderabad press meet, Vikram revealed basic plot details and what the story of the film is all about. "Cobra" is going to be one of the longest films of Vikram ever with a runtime of approx. 3 hours but as per the actor, it has enough thrilling moments to keep the audiences on the edge of their seats. ## "Cobra is a psychological thriller with a bit of science fiction, high-octane action, and emotional drama film. My role in the film will have ten variations but the film is not just only about my getups. Directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam, "Border" will hit worldwide theaters on October 5, 2022, on the occasion of Vijayadashami. ## The announcement of the film's release date was made on August 27 with a new poster. Chiyaan Vikram's 'Dhruva Natchathiram' To Release In December 2022?

Chennai, August 25 - Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram's last theatrical film was "Kadaram Kondan" in 2019, and since then, he has had only one release in the form of "Mahaan", and it was direct to release via Amazon Prime Video in February this year. ## Chiyaan Vikram is now gearing up for his big screen comeback with the upcoming movie "Cobra", scheduled to release on August 31. It is not the only film of him releasing in theaters this year as filmmaker Mani Ratnam's magnum opus, "Ponniyin Selvan: I", in which he is playing the role of a prince Aditya Karikalan, is also scheduled for September 30. ## While the aforementioned films are confirmed to release, if all goes well, the actor could have his third theatrical release this year. According to reports, Vikram's long-awaited "Dhruva Natchathiram" is progressing to release in December this year. The film has had its trouble in completing the shoot and finally, there is some movement regarding this one. ## It is said that after promotional work for Cobra and Ponniyin Selvan, Chiyaan Vikram will be shooting for the pending portions of "Dhruva Natchathiram" as the makers have decided to release it this year itself. Rajamouli's films have been ahead of their times and it was the "Baahuabli" series that opened the gate for other filmmakers to dream big, breaking the barrier of languages. ## During the second single launch of "Ponniyin Selvan 1" in Chennai on August 19, Mani Ratnam spoke about how Rajamouli's "Baahubali" inspired him to make films like "PS". Even though Mani Ratnam always wanted to make PS for the big screen, he said that Rajamouli showed the way with Baahubali that such films can be made and be successful in two-part. ## "I want to Thank SS Rajamouli Garu.
