Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Kaaram' Worldwide Theatrical Business Details

Hyderabad, January 5 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's action drama Guntur Kaaram, directed by Trivikram is all set to hit the big screens on January 12, and the preparations are being made for the grand release worldwide. ## The last time Mahesh Babu released his film at the Sankranthi festival, it went on to become his highest-grossing in the form of Sarileru Neekevvaru, and the expectations are even higher this time. Guntur Kaaram is one of the most-anticipated Telugu movies of the year and the trade is expecting it to turn out big box office success. ## The film has done a record pre-release theatrical business worldwide for Mahesh Babu, even though it is going to release in a jam-packed festive weekend. Guntur Kaaram's theatrical business has been locked a huge approximately 134 crores worldwide, which is a record for a non-pan Indian Telugu movie. ## The business in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) is approximately 104 crores, including 42 crores in Nizam and 14 crores in Ceded area, according to Track Tollywood. Box Office: 'Salaar' Hits 100 Crore Gross Milestone In Nizam

Hyderabad, January 5 - Pan India superstar Prabhas has stamped his authority once again in Nizam with his latest blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire which has crossed 100 crores gross mark in this region. ## The Baabubali star, after a few disappointing outings in the past, makes a roaring comeback with his latest action drama which is nearing the 600 crores gross mark at the global box office. Los Angeles, January 5 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas' action drama Guntur Kaaram is having a good buzz among the audiences and is all set to a very good start at the domestic and overseas box office this Sankranthi festival. ## "Guntur Kaaram" will have its USA premiere on January 11, and the booking of the same opened on a very good note. Prabhas 'Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam' To Release In 2025

Hyderabad, January 3 - Superstar Prabhas is basking on the success of his action drama Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, was promised a two-part story, and the first part ended with a cliffhanger which sets the stage for a big face-off between Prabhas and Sukumaran. ## The title of the film's second part, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam was revealed in the climax of the first part and now, the producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films has revealed details about the release of the second part. ## During an interview with Pinkvilla, the producer revealed that the script of Salaar 2 is ready and the team is in the process of starting it any time. Hyderabad, December 24 - Salaar has had an excellent hold on its second day at the domestic box office, and today, the movie witnessed a jump of around 10%, which is very good considering the second-day collection itself was huge at 56+ crores net in all versions. ## The Prabhas-fronted action drama, on its first Sunday/third day, scored an estimated 60+ crores net collection, which takes the total cume to over 200 crores at around 208 in all versions. Hyderabad, December 22 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has taken an earth-shattering opening at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office, easily becoming the biggest Indian opener of 2023, and one of the biggest of all-time. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action drama started showing its dominance in the first show itself and remained unshakable throughout the day, especially in the original Telugu language. The other versions, including Hindi, also performed well, scripting a huge first day. ## As per the early estimates, Salaar scored approximately 90+ crores net (110+ crores gross) in all versions on its opening day. In Hindi, the film scored an estimated 15+ crores net which is a good opening considering the clash with an outright Bollywood film. ## The film's initial word of mouth is positive and the bookings for the rest of the Christmas weekend are excellent which means a massive weekend is on the cards. 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Opening Day Box Office Expectations

Hyderabad, December 21 - Director Prashanth Neel has been living a dream of seeing the theatres getting filled for one of his initial subjects in a new form and he couldn't have teamed up with a bigger star than Prabhas to do that for him and the time has finally arrived in a few hours. ## Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has been in the making for the last two years and it is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films. Produced by Hombale Films, the movie is seen as a big comeback for Prabhas in particular after a few box office misfires over the last few years. ## Even though the recent films of Prabhas couldn't repeat the heroics of his past films they still scored big openings and Salaar is not going to be any different on that front. The movie is targeting one of the biggest openings for an Indian title at the worldwide box office looking at the pre-sales trend. ## The bookings of Salaar, despite not getting much support from national chains, are outstanding, to say the least. In India, the film has already grossed over 42 crores from online bookings while overall sales (including offline shows) should be around 60 crores for the opening day in all languages which is excellent. ## As per the booking trend, Salaar opening in India is tracking to over 100 crores gross as it is expected to be somewhere around 100-110 crores gross. In its main market, Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the film is expected to take the opening in the vicinity of 70 crores, which is one of the biggest ever. ## The Hindi market is going to be a key to Salaar's overall success and as per the booking trend, the movie is heading for a good start. It is mass-friendly and is expected to score around 20 crores gross in the Hindi belt. In Karnataka, the movie is projected to gross around 12 crores on the opening day, followed by 4+ crores in Kerala, and over 3 crores in Tamil Nadu. ## The overseas pre-sales of the movie are fantastic and the opening in international markets is expected to be 45+ crores, which will make it 150-160 crores opening day at the worldwide box office, making it the biggest for an Indian film of 2023.## The aforementioned projections are purely based on the booking trend and how pan-India Telugu films have behaved in the past, so these numbers may vary by some margin. I wanted to fill cinema halls and I am doing that on 22nd. Whatever people think, at the end of the day Ugramm is mine. It's not a point that I am trying to prove. I want to fulfil one of my deepest ambitions of filling theatres for that particular subject and that is what Salaar is. I have changed a lot of things. 'Salaar' Release Trailer Hits 100+ Million Views In The First 24 Hours

Hyderabad, December 19 - The final trailer of Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire garnered over 100 million views across all languages in the first 24 hours. Termed as the Release Trailer, it was received by the fans wholeheartedly and it has increased the anticipation further. ## Hombale Films officially announced on social media that "Salaar" release trailer scored 101+ million views in all languages across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. In addition, it got 1.6+ million likes and is trading at number on YouTube. ## On YouTube, the trailer scored over 72 million views in all versions. Mumbai, December 19 - Director Prashanth Neel has been honest in sharing details about his upcoming blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, starring superstar Prabhas in the title role.
