Mumbai, July 6 - Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been announced to release on August 2, 2024. Mumbai, July 5 - Bollywood star Alia Bhatt, and Sharvari Wagh have officially been confirmed to headline Yash Raj Films' first female-led Spy Universe film, titled Alpha. The film is directed by The Railway Man director Shiv Rawail. ## The movie has been in the news since last year and now, on July 5, Yash Raj Films has announced the official title with a voice teaser and also confirmed the shooting commencement. ## In the teaser, Alia Bhatt can be heard saying, "The first letter of the Greek alphabet... and our program's motto - the first, the fastest, the strongest. Mumbai, July 4 - Kalki 2898 AD ends the extended first week on a high with another double-digit collection in the Hindi version with a drop of just around 10% from yesterday which is a very good hold to go into the second week. ## On its second Thursday (8th day), Kalki 2898 AD scored an estimated 10+ crores net collection which can go up to 11 crores depending on the single screens. June 2024 Indian Box Office Report

Mumbai, July 2 - June was the second biggest month of the year at the Indian box office with close to 1000 crores gross collection after January which is the only month to cross this milestone so far. ## In June 2024, films across languages grossed approximately 985 crores at the domestic box office, as Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD being the biggest grosser with approximately 370 crores gross, followed by Bollywood movie, Munjya with approximately 111 crores gross. ## In terms of language, Hindi once again topped the month and also saw the biggest of the year so far by topping March month's collection of 386 crores with approximately 390 crores gross which includes Kalki (130+ crores) and Munjay (111 crores) as the two biggest grossers. The Telugu version is also back in the top 2 with approximately 275 crores gross, thanks to Kalki with 200 crores gross. ## Meanwhile, the Malayalam language collection slipped to 4th spot after being the second biggest for four consecutive months. The Tamil industry also witnessed a rebound and has had the biggest month of the year with approximately 137 crores gross, thanks to Maharaja (60 crores) and Garudan (45 crores). ## The total domestic collection after the first 6 months is approximately 4700 crores gross. Mumbai, June 28 - Sunny Deol's film with director Gopichand Malineni gets a title as the shoot is underway. After scripting box office history with Gadar 2, Sunny recently announced his maiden collaboration with the Telugu director a mass entertainer, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. ## The shoot of the film kicked off on June 22 in Hyderabad, and according to the report by Pinkvilla, the movie has been titled, Jatt. "The team has derived the title from the script as Sunny Deol's character has the traits of being a Jatt. It's a larger-than-life heroic character for Sunny Deol and he is donning a special look of a light beard and a moustache for the same", says the report. ## In a recent interview, the Veera Simha Reddy director revealed Sunny Deol's character details and said that the actor plays the role of a one-man army, taking on a powerful villain. The filmmaker further revealed that the story of the movie is inspired by multiple real-life incidents which the audience will love when they watch it. ## Jatt will be filmed for three months and Sunny will call it a wrap by September before jumping to epic Ramayana, in which he is playing Lord Hanuman and Border 2 where he reprises his role as Major Kuldeep Singh from the first movie.
