Box Office: Mr and Mrs Mahi Third Day/First Sunday Early Estimates
Mumbai, June 2 - Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr and Mrs Mahi has a good opening weekend at the domestic box office with a collection of around 17 crores net. ## The romantic sports drama witnessed a jump of around 20% on Sunday for an estimated 5.25-5.75 crores net collection, pushing the total collection to around 17 crores in the first 3-day weekend which is on the expected lines. ## Mr and Mrs Mahi got a cinema day boost on its opening day so the weekend collection is probably around 3 crores higher than what it could have been with the regular prices. The positive word of mouth also played its part as the movie held decently on Saturday before seeing a good jump on Sunday. ## The overall fate of the movie will be determined by how it performs during weekdays and for consistent collection, Mr and Mrs Mahi will need to hold well on Sunday with a collection of 2-2.50 crores net. A better hold might also keep it in the race for 50 crores net, however, there will be regular competition from next weekend to dent its chances. ## Stay tuned...
