Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Assures Full Support To Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'

Guwahati, January 22 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's spy action thriller Pathaan is set to big screens on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The movie, however, has been at the center of controversy, and recently, a group of people allegedly stormed into a cinema hall in Assam's Narengi on Friday, vandalizing property and burning down posters of the movie. ## Shah Rukh Khan has expressed concerns over such incidents and dialed Assam CM to look into this matter. The CM took to his Twitter account to announce that his government will do anything to protect law and order in the state and ensures full support for the screening of the film. ## "Bollywood actor Shri @iamsrk called me and we talked today morning at 2 am. He expressed concern about an incident in Guwahati during screening of his film. I assured him that it's duty of state govt to maintain law & order. Mumbai, January 18 - Yash Raj Films has opened the advance booking of its highly-anticipated spy action thriller Pathaan on limited screens in IMAX, 4DX, and 2D formats. ## The full-fledged advance booking of this Shah Rukh Khan-fronted will kickstart from January 20, but ahead of that, the response to limited pre-sales is terrific, to say the least. It was also released on Disney+Hotstar. ## Disney Plus Hotstar was the biggest gainer from the Hindi film industry with 3 of its original movies crossing 24 million views each as "Govinda Naam Mera" scored 24.4 million views, per Ormax.
