Ranveer Singh's Movie 83 Declared Tax-Free In Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 21, 2021: Ranveer Singh fronted '83, which narrates the story of the Indian cricket team’s victory at the 1983 world cup, is set to hit the screens on December 24. The advance booking for this sports drama began on Sunday, December 19. According to our report, the movie has recorded a decent advance booking trend but picking up really well now. ## Now the news is that the film has got Tax Free status in Delhi. This is joyous news for the producers, presenters, and exhibitors associated with the film and this will definitely help the business of the film in a long run. ## The Tax-free status means whatever collections the film gets in "Gross" will be counted in "Nett" figures without any tax. This will also mean the ticket rates of 83 will be down in the Delhi circuit(of course that depends upon makers) which will help the film to get some extra footfalls. ## The Kabir Khan directorial, advance booking of ’83 opened in national multiplex chains and recorded sales of around 15k, going by this figure, the movie could rake in 10 crores net advance before release. 9 Years of Salman Khan's Blockbuster Dabangg 2

Mumbai, Dec 21, 2021: 9 years ago on 21 December 2012, the box office had seen the release of Blockbuster Dabangg2 which smashed many records at the time of its release. The film was 5th consecutive Blockbuster for Superstar Salman khan at that time. ## After the humongous success of Dabangg in 2010, the makers thought of making the sequel and converting the film into a franchise. The makers also cashed on the popularity of the character played by Salman Khan - "Chulbul Pandey" which became one of the most iconic characters ever in the history of the Indian cinema with the first film itself. ## The craze for Dabangg2 was huge due to being a sequel to a Blockbuster film and chartbuster music album. As a result, Dabangg 2 opened to record-breaking first-day numbers for a non-holiday release. Varun Dhawan And Janhvi Kapoor To Headline Nitesh Tiwari's Next Directorial!

Mumbai, December 21 - Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari has reportedly signed Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor for his next directorial. The filmmaker was to direct his ambitious Ramayana trilogy next. However, the project has been said to be postponed over date issues with lead actors, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, who have busy schedules throughout next year with other projects. ## According to peepingmoon.com, Nitesh Tiwari is planning a quickie before starting the Ramayana trilogy and he has roped in Varun and Janhvi for the film, which will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. While the details about the project are kept under wraps for now, it is believed to be a romantic entertainer. It will be Janhvi's first film with Varun Dhawan. ## It is reported that Varun Dhawan was to headline Nadiadwala's "Sanki". However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, they decided to call off that project and work on something else that's not just a masala potboiler. And that's when Nadiadwala pitched him Nitesh Tiwari's film. When Janhvi was approached, she also gave her nod immediately and everything fell into place soon. ## The yet-untitled film marks Dhawan's maiden collaboration with Dangal director and the fourth collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala after Dishoom, Kalank, and Judwaa 2. The Nitesh Tiwari film is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of next year. After completing Tiwari's film, Varun will head to his ambitious Arun Kheterpal biopic, Ekkis with Sriram Raghavan.## Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will also be teaming up with Rajkumar Hirani for a true-story-based slice-of-life drama, however, he is yet to sign that film. He will next be seen in Raj Mehta's relationship drama "Jug Jugg Jeeyo", which is scheduled to release in theatres on 24th June 2022. He also has a monster comedy Bhediya with Kriti Sanon, scheduled to come out in cinemas on 25th November 2022. Actress Pallavi Joshi Opens Up On The Challenges While Shooting For 'The Kashmir Files'

Mumbai, December 20 - National Award-winning filmmaker, Vivek Agnihotri is gearing up for his next "The Kashmir Files", which is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandit community in 1990. The film features one of the finest casting coups including Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, and Chinmay Mandlekar in prominent roles among others. ## Meanwhile, Vivek Agnihotri's wife, Pallavi Joshi, who is portraying a challenging role in the film, opens up about the challenges and threats while shooting for the film in Kashmir. "We had no problem securing the same to shoot in Kashmir but the kind of film that we were making and how Vivek is perceived by the people, there was threat to our life and that's why we had approximately 16-17 people as security with us, right from J&K Police and CRPF and our car was always surrounded by them", she said. ## "Even when we were shooting in shikaras, we were constantly chased by 2-3 other shikaras, keeping an eye on us in terms of security. As filmmakers, we go and shoot anywhere but when you know you have huge security with you, that's when the threat factor comes alive. SS Rajamouli To Present 'Brahmāstra' In South Indian Languages

Bollywood Box Office Update Before Spiderman Juggernaut

Mumbai, Dec 16, 2021: There have been few films that had done decently well at the box office whose run gonna end as the box office will see the release of juggernaut called Spiderman: No Way Home. ## The first film which brought the audience back to the theatre - Sooryavanshi which was released on Diwali saw a huge Opening-weekend. The film had good enough public reports and trended well since its weekend. There have been few circuits that didn't perform for Sooryavanshi but the Blockbuster business in Maharashtra and Gujarat had nullified that. The Total collections of Sooryavanshi now stand at 195.22 Cr plus and the film is looking to finish its theatrical run at around 196 Cr. ## The 2nd film which did well theatrically post the release of Sooryavanshi was Antim: The Final Truth starring Ayush Sharma and supported by the much-hyped extended cameo of Salman Khan. The film had seen good first weekend collections and just like Sooryavanshi, the reports were good for Antim too. As a result, Antim had seen healthy collections over weekdays to give a total of 39.40cr till now. Antim will finish its theatrical run at 40 Cr. The film has emerged as a successful film in trade terms. ## The 3rd film which had done well was Tadap which was the debut film of Suniel Shetty's Son Ahan Shetty. The music of the film was well-received and despite the new face, the film got good footfalls in its theatrical run. The total collections of the film now stand at 26.81 Cr and the film will end its theatrical run at 28cr. ## The Two films that didn't perform as expected were Satyamev Jayate2 starring John Abraham and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui starring Ayushman Khurana. Mumbai, December 15 - Actress Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in Anand L Rai's "Zero" opposite Shah Rukh Khan, was supposed to make her comeback with Indian cricket legend Jhulan Goswami's biopic.
