Mumbai, August 5, 2021: Farhan Akhtar's recently released "Toofan" on Amazon Prime Video and opened with mixed responses from the viewers. The actor is now gearing up for his next, which is said to be a contemporary action flick with director Ashutosh Gowariker. ## Gowariker, who is known for making intense period dramas, is looking to embrace other genres. Recently, it was revealed that he was working on his next Hindi film for Akhtar's Excel Entertainment banner. The yet-untitled film is said to be set in a forest and will see Akhtar playing the role of a forest ranger, an officer charged with the patrolling and guarding of a forest. ## The movie has been planned as a big-budget venture and will reportadly see another prominant Bollywood actor to play the villain. Farhan's father, the legendary Javed Akhtar himself is writing this film with a team of writers. The survival thriller has been titled, Mili, in Hindi, and it is directed by Mathukutty Xavier, who directed the original film as well. ## The Hindi remake is produced by Janhvi's father Boney Kapoor under his production banner Bayview Projects LLP. The shooting of "Mili", has already begun in Mumbai on August 4. Directed by Hansal Mehta, Kartik will play an Air Force pilot in the film, which is inspired by true events. ## "Captain India" is based on true events and inspired by one of India's successful rescue missions from a war-torn country, with Kartik as the pilot who leads the operation and displays exemplary bravery and courage. Writer and producer Harman Baweja called Captain India 'will resonate with every Indian'. ## It has now been revealed that the movie is based on one of the biggest rescue operations, "Operation Raahat", that took place in 2015. Kartik will play a pilot who led "Operation Raahat". Harman Baweja, Sanchit Gupta, Priyadarshee Srivastava, and Karan Vyas have written the script of the film, produced by RSVP Movies and Baweja Studios. ## Talking about "Operation Raahat", it was done by the Indian Armed Forces to evacuate Indian citizens and foreign nationals from Yemen during the 2015 military intervention by Saudi Arabia and its allies in that country during the Yemeni Crisis. It was a joint operation led by the Indian Navy and Air Force. ## During "Operation Raahat", more than 4,640 Indian citizens in Yemen were evacuated along with 960 foreign nationals from 41 countries. "Operation Raahat" lasted for 11 days from April 1 to April 11. Indian Air Force began evacuation on 3 April 2015 from Sana and it ended on April 9, 2015. ## "Captain India is inspiring and thrilling in equal measure and it gives me great pride and honor to be a part of such a historic chapter of our country. Mumbai, August 1, 2021: After completing Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy, "Bhediya" with Kriti Sanon recently, Varun Dhawan will now move to Karan Johar's emotional family drama "Jug Jugg Jeeyo". As per the latest reports, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor will resume the shooting of Raj Mehta directorial from August 10 in Mumbai. "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film went on floors last year in November but was put on hold after Varun, Neetu, and director Mehta tested positive for the covid-19. It's Official: Aditya Roy Kapur To Headline Hindi Remake Of Tamil Blockbuster Thadam

Mumbai, July 29, 2021: Last year, on March 4, Kabir Singh producer Murad Khetani announced his next film as the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster Thadam, in association with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the movie couldn't go on floors as scheduled in May.## The film that was supposed to be headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and Mrunal Thakur finally went on floors in November last year with major changes. However, earlier this year, Sidharth did object to the new screenplay which resulted in, the actor opted out of the movie that put a brake on the further proceedings.## And now, Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani have roped in Aditya Roy Kapur, as reported earlier, in the remake of Arun Vijay starrer. The Hindi remake of Thadam will be directed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar and it will go on floors in September this year. Apart from Adi, Mrunal said to remain a part of the cast as the female lead. This will also be Aditya's first double role ever. ## "I am excited and inspired to be a part of telling such an interesting story. Prabhas' Radhe Shyam On Sankranthi 2022 And Yash Starrer KGF: Chapter 2 To Release In December 2021?

Mumbai, July 28, 2021: The covid-19 pandemic is continuing to disturb the release schedule of Indian films. If there was no covid-19 second wave, some of the big stars' movies would have been released by now including KGF: Chapter 2, Bell Bottom, Sooryavanshi, Radhe Shyam, among others. ## However, as the situation is improving day by day, some of the films are gearing up for release in theaters. Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom was announced for July 28 release (today), and now, it will reportadly be releasing on August 19 in 3D. Meanwhile, Yash starrer highly awaited, KGF: Chapter 2 is now eyeing December 2021 release, for which, the official announcement will be made soon. ## After July 16 release was wiped out due to the closer of cinemas, KGF 2 was said to be releasing on September 9. However, as some of the Hollywood biggies are planning to release in the August and September window, also the possibility of the third wave around this time, the makers of Prasanth Neel directorial thought of releasing the movie in December as best possible release window. ## On the other hand, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde's period romantic film, Radhe Shyam, was all set for a grand theatrical release on July 30.
