The movie was released on the occasion of the PK's birthday today. ## Directed by Harish Shankar, the action drama film has had a sensational pre-booking at the worldwide box office. Hyderabad, August 31 - Natural star Nani's action thriller Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is heading towards emerging as a box-office success after a good first three days. It comes as a needed breather for the Telugu film industry after the disastrous Independence Day week releases.## Directed by Vivek Athreya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had a good first 2 days with a worldwide box collection of approximately 28.50 crores gross, including approximately 17.50 crores domestically. The movie is having a very good first Saturday (3rd day), expected to be around 10 crore gross domestically.## The movie is heading towards 43+ crores worldwide gross after the 3rd day, and this is one of the biggest opening weekends for a Telugu title of 2024. Prabhas-Fronted 'Kalki 2' Shoot and Release Date Plans Announced

Hyderabad, August 30 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has been a massive box office success and the way it concluded has increased the excitement for its sequel to the next level, however, there is a catch. ## While the buzz around Kalki 2 is at an all-time high, the producers have confirmed that the movie won't be hitting the big screens until 2028. ## Producers and sister duo Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies were present at the screening of Kalki 2898 AD at the Moscow Film Festival where they said that the filming of Kalki 2 will start in the next five or six months, around January or February 2025. Nag Ashwin's Next Directorial Is Not 'Kalki 2'

Hyderabad, August 13 - Telugu director Nag Ashwin teamed up with Pan India superstar Prabhas on Kalki 2898 AD which stormed the box office and has become one of the biggest Indian grossers of all time by topping 1000 crores worldwide. ## Kalki 2898 AD is the first installment in the planned Kalki universe but it seems the second film will take some time to get on the floors. The blockbuster filmmaker has announced his next film, tentatively titled Project S and has teamed up with the iconic production house AVM Productions for the same.## The details about the project are not revealed yet but the makers announced on social media that they are looking for associate directors based in Hyderabad for Project S. Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD's working title was Project K and with his next being called Project S, the fans are drawing similarities. ## However, both the movies are unrelated as Prabhas-starrer was produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, another iconic production studio. Mumbai, August 12 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan delivered the biggest blockbuster of his career in the form of Jawan which was released last year. The movie was directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee and has other cast and crew from Tamil cinema.## Jawan was lauded by critics and audiences alike for having the South Indian flavour in terms of providing big-scale action entertainment and no wonder, King Khan has lauded South Indian cinema, calling it fantastic in terms of cinematically and technically. ## During an interaction at the Locarno Film Festival where the Pathaan star was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the diversity of Indian cinema, and especially heaped high praise on Southern Indian film industries. ## "For years, the idea of regionalizing Indian cinema seemed wrong to me. Our country is so vast, and we don't just have different dialects but we have entirely different languages. There's Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, and so many more. With recent hits like Jawan, RRR, and Baahubali, the world is finally starting to notice what we've always known in India".## Shah Rukh Khan previously worked with Tamil director Mani Ratnam's Dil Se.. in 1998 and it was a big box office success worldwide. The actor revealed that he had the desire to work in the South after Dil Se.. and it finally happened with Jawan which he calls a great experience. ## "South cinema has a specific style, with larger-than-life heroes and lots of music. I really enjoyed that. Jawan was a great experience for me. It was one of the first true fusions of Hindi and South Indian cinema that transcended boundaries and was loved across the nation", he added.## Meanwhile, SRK will soon start director Sujoy Ghosh's King which will be released in 2025.
