Ram Pothineni's 'Double iSmart' Censor Details With Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Hyderabad, August 8 - Actor Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh reunited for the sequel to their blockbuster movie iSmart Shankar. Scheduled to be released on August 15, Double iSmart also features Sanjay Dutt in his Telugu debut and Kavya Thapar in prominent roles.## Double iSmart is an important movie for both Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh and they seem to have gone all out for this mass entertainer just like the first part. Box Office: 'Kalki 2898 AD' Beats 'Jawan' To Become 4th Biggest Grosser In India

Mumbai, August 6 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has become the 4th highest-grossing movie ever at the Indian box office, beating megastar Shah Rukh Khan-led 2023's mega-blockbuster Jawan. ## The domestic box office collection of Kalki 2898 AD has crossed 760 crores gross (640 crores net) in all languages after 40 days, which takes it past the entire run of Jawan's 760 crores gross. At the time of writing this piece, Kalki has surpassed Jawan in terms of both net and gross collection. ## The Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD is leading the pack with approximately 350 crores gross (290 crores net), followed by the Telugu version with 335 crores gross while Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions have grossed around 75 crores so far.## As said, Prabhas' Baahubali 2 will remain the biggest domestic grosser with a mighty 1417 crores gross (1030 crores net), followed by KGF: Chapter 2, and RRR at the second and third with 1001 crores gross (860 crores net), and 916 crores gross (782 crores net), respectively. The film was announced a couple of years back but due to the other commitments of both the director and actor, the development of their maiden collaboration was delayed.## Over the past couple of months, there have been major talks regarding which film would Prashanth Neel be taking among Prabhas-fronted Salaar 2 and NTR-starrer. 'Kalki 2898 AD' 6th Friday Box Office Collection

Mumbai, August 3 - Kalki 2898 AD started the 6th weekend with a decent hold though the trend is slowing down. It has been difficult for Telugu movies to sustain for a longer period at the box office in recent times but the Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic has been defying odds to hold its ground. ## The movie scored approximately 65 lakh net collection on its 6th Friday (37th day), dropping under 50% drop from the 5th Friday which is a decent hold. Though the makers announced a heavily discounted offer for the 1 week from August 2nd, it didn't make much difference as it still could have scored this collection with regular prices with a few lakhs here and there. ## The total collection of Kalki 2898 AD stands at an estimated 636.50 crores net (756 crores gross) after 37 days in all versions. Hyderabad, July 21 - 7 years after scripting box office history with Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion, Pan India superstar Prabhas has done it again as his Kalki 2898 AD has become the 7th Indian movie and the second for the actor to enter the 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office. ## The sci-fi epic, directed by Nag Ashwin, has done what it was expected to achieve before its release on June 27. It took just 25 days for Kalki to breach the milestone of 1000 crores worldwide gross, making it the 3rd Telugu-origin title and 4th South Indian film to do so. ## Kalki 2898 AD scored an estimated 990 crores gross globally in the first 24 days and on its 4th Sunday (25th day), the movie added another estimated 12 crores gross, taking its worldwide cume to over the magical figure of the thousand crores gross. ## Including the 5th Sunday collection, the epic blockbuster has minted an estimated 733 crores gross in India and 270 crores overseas. Box Office: 'Kalki 2898 AD' Beats 'RRR' To Become Third Highest-Grossing South Indian Movie In Hindi

Mumbai, July 21 - Director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has become the third highest-grossing South Indian movie at the Hindi box office after beating SS Rajamouli's action drama RRR on its 25th day. ## The Prabhas-fronted blockbuster scored approximately 4.85 crores net collection on its 4th Sunday which took its total cume to approximately 276 crores net in 25 days to become the third biggest South Indian movie in the dubbed version.## SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' Baahubali 2 remains the top South Indian grosser in Hindi with approximately 511 crores net, followed by Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2 with 435 crores approx.
