Box Office: Prabhas-Fronted 'Radhe Shyam' Maintains Good Hold On First Sunday

Hyderabad, March 13 - Telugu, Hindi bilingual movie, "Radhe Shyam", starring superstar Prabhas, has had a good first weekend at the box office. It has crossed Rs. 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office on the second day itself. In India, the period romantic drama film has reached past Rs. 100 crores gross mark, after scoring an estimated Rs. 23 crores net on the first Sunday for all languages, maintaining a good hold from Saturday. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, "Radhe Shyam" has reached an estimated Rs. 90.70 crores net (Rs. 106 crores gross) in the first three days. It is likely to storm into Rs. 100 crores net club on the first Monday. The Hindi collection of the film continues to be on the lower side despite taking a slight jump on Sunday for approx. Rs. 5.50 crores net (+11%). The 3-days Hindi total stands at Rs. 15.25 crores, which is very low considering the high stake involved in the film. In the Telugu version, it scored approx. Rs. 17 crores on Sunday, pushing 3-days total net collection for Telugu version to Rs. 74 crores approx. The AP/TG share collection on the 3rd day was approx. 11-12 crores. Hyderabad, March 13 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is readying for the final round of promotion of "RRR". The magnum opus, directed by maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli, is gearing up for the widest ever release for an Indian film on March 25 worldwide. It also stars Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in prominent roles. ## After the "RRR", the "Janatha Garage" actor will reportedly be teaming up with director Buchi Babu Sana, who made his debut last year with the blockbuster "Uppena". Box Office: Radhe Shyam Emerges As The Biggest Indian Opener Of 2022

Hyderabad, March 12 - Prabhas' love affair with the box office continues!## It was a box office bonanza at the Indian box office on Friday when superstar and darling of the fans, Prabhas' "Radhe Shyam" shot up to the biggest opening for an Indian film in 2022. With Rs. 50.30 crores gross on the first day, "Radhe Shyam" has also become the second biggest Indian movie during the covid-19 pandemic, behind only Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise", which grossed a mighty Rs. 52.80 crores in December 2021. ## The Radha Krishna Kumar-directed, as expected, performed significantly well in the Telugu version, grossing Rs. 44.35 crores, including Rs. 37.60 crores in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The AP/TG area-wise gross for the opening day was Rs. 25.68 crores, which is the 11th biggest of all time. It also emerged as the 3rd biggest opener in Nizam with Rs. 10.80 crores gross share.## Apart from Telugu, the second biggest market for "Radhe Shyam" was Hindi, in which it performed lower than expected. The Hindi version contributed approx. Rs. 5.50 crores gross on Friday while other versions grossed approx. 45 lakhs. On the brighter side, "Radhe Shyam", scored the 5th biggest opening day in Hindi for a South Indian movie. ## Overseas, the period romantic film spread love all over and minted approx. Rs. 15 crores on the first day, helping worldwide cume to reach a super Rs. 65.30 crores. Hyderabad, March 6 - Superstar Prabhas' long-awaited "Radhe Shyam" is readying for a big worldwide release on March 11. It has been more than 2 years since Prabhas' last film "Saaho" was released in theaters, and in between, a lot has happened all over the world. The release of "Radhe Shyam" couldn't have come at a better time as things are getting back to normal in most parts of the world. ## As for the box office perspective, Prabhas' movies have always been there for the makers to bank on. And not so surprisingly, there is a positive vibe among the exhibitors and theaters owners regarding "Radhe Shyam's" box office outcome.
