Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan Talk About Mega Success of 'Kalki 2898 AD'
Mumbai, July 18 - Director Nag Ashwin's dystopian future sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has taken the box office by storm to become one of the biggest blockbusters. The movie starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani is nearing 1000 crores worldwide gross which will make it only the 7th Indian movie ever to do so. ## Recently, Prabhas thanked his fans for making Kalki 2898 AD a massive box office success and also expressed gratitude towards his co-stars in the movie. As the movie is still running well in theatres, legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan have shared their joy at the film's success and expressed gratitude for being a part of it. ## "For Prabhas, this may be something of a routine because a lot of his films (Baahubali 2) cross this Rs 1000 crore figure, but for me, I am truly indebted and very grateful to have been made a part of this huge concept called Kalki. I have already seen the film four times... and each time, I have discovered something new, something that I may have missed when I saw it the first time", Amitabh Bachchan said. ## ## Kamal Haasan, meanwhile, has had a small role in Kalki 2898 AD as his full-fledged role will be featured in Kalki 2 as Supreme Yaskin, a totalitarian god-king ruling the post-apocalyptic world from the "Complex". The actor said that it was a moment to be celebrated as not many films of him have touched the milestone of 1000 crores at the box office.## The veteran actor also revealed that director Nag Ashwin went to Los Angeles to perfect the look of the Supreme Yaskin, which appears only for a few minutes in Kalki 2898 AD. The actor refused to reveal much but said that the audience will see a lot more of him in the second part which is expected to be released in 2027.## ## Stay tuned...
