Mumbai, December 11 - Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has completed its first week (7 days) with the record-breaking collection. The movie has performed exceptionally well throughout the week and has another solid hold on its first Wednesday in Hindi and other versions. ## The movie is having an insane hold in Hindi despite the record-shattering day-wise collection. On Wednesday, Pushpa 2 is witnessing a drop of just 15%-20% for an estimated 29-31 crores net, pushing total Hindi collection to around 397+ crores net in just 7 days. ## The extended opening week of the film is heading towards 420 crores net (+/-) and it looks like will break into the 500 crores club during the second weekend only in a record time and may become the biggest Hindi grosser by the third weekend which looks a serious possibility at this point. ## In Telugu states, Pushpa 2 continues to have a decent hold as it scored another 8-9 crores gross on Wednesday, followed by 4-5 crores gross in Karnataka, and around 3 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and Karela. Hyderabad, December 11 - Veteran Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Seenu are reuniting for the fourth time for the sequel to their big box office blockbuster Akhanda. The movie was officially announced in October this year and now, the makers have dropped a major update. ## On Wednesday (December 11), the makers officially announced that the shoot of Akhanda 2 - Thaandavam has commenced today in Hyderabad and the film has been locked to be released on Thursday, September 25, 2025, during the pre-Dussehra weekend. ## The release date was announced with a teaser promo which has S Thaman's electrifying music. First, the film's announcement and now, the release date confirmation have raised curiosity among the audience. Earlier, the film had the biggest non-holiday first Monday in Hindi with over 46 crores net and it is showing a drop of under 20% on Tuesday which is a fantastic hold. ## According to the early estimates, Pushpa 2 has scored in the range of 37-39 crores net collection on its first Tuesday/sixth day in Hindi, pushing the total Hindi net collection to over 370 crores in 6 days. With this, it has become the biggest first-week grosser in Hindi, beating Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan (351 crores net). ## The post-weekend collection of Pushpa 2 is unbelievable, especially after the heavily frontloaded weekend.
