Suriya Starrer Tamil Movie Soorarai Pottru To Premiere On Amazon Prime Video

The COVID-19 pandemic has started leaving a lasting impact on the entertainment industry as the movies not only Hindi but other languages that were held back for a theatrical release have started making their way for the OTT platform. ## In the latest development, the keenly awaited Suriya Sivakumar fondly called as Suriya starrer Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru that was one of the movies held back for a theatrical release will now premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 30 October 2020.## It is a biopic drama film that is based on events during the life of Air Deccan founder G. R. Tamil superstar Rajinikanth on Wednesday took to social media and posted a furious note seeking justice for the custodial deaths of a father-son duo Jayaraj and Bennix. The superstar is also furious at the police for their behavior in front of the magistrate investigating the case. ## He posted a photo of him looking upset and a note which is written in Tamil translated to, "I am shocked to know the behavior of few police officials in front of the magistrate investigating the case inspite of being aware of the protests of citizens against the brutal act of the police. All the police involved in the case should be punished and not be spared. Well, the creative producer Archana Kalpathi of Bigil has revealed an interesting fact about the role of an aged gangster. ## In a recent interview with a leading portal, Archana Kalpathi revealed that Rayappan's role was earlier supposed to be played by someone else as the Bigil team was not sure whether the ever young Vijay would be apt to play the character. ## However, after seeing the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's aged look in Chhichhore, the entire team of the Tamil blockbuster convinced that they can make the actor look old. The wait was over after one of the most talked-about Tamil films Penguin trailer dropped on Thursday, June 11. She is up against a masked psycho killer who tortures the kids after kidnapping them. While other characters lose hope, Keerthy's character believes that her son is still alive and she goes in search of him. ## The leading lady Keerthy Suresh said in a statement, "Penguin has definitely been one of the most exciting and interesting projects I’ve worked on. As a mother, Rhythm is both gentle and caring, but also fiercely determined. She’s complex but authentic, and I think that will really strike a chord with audiences. Mohanlal's NGO donates PPE kits and N95 masks to the Mayor of Pune

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's NGO ViswaSanthi Foundation has donated 1000 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and N95 masks to the Hon. Mayor of Pune Murlidhar Mohol for the safety of the healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus pandemic. ## The trust had also donated 1000 PPE kits and over 2000 N95 makes to the healthcare workers in Tamilnadu and N95 masks to the police officials who are at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19. ## On May 12, the superstar had shared the news via Twitter in which he said, "Continuing with third lap of initiatives against #COVID19, @ViswaSanthiFndn handed over 1000 PPE kits & N95 masks to Hon. mayor of Pune, Sri. @mohol_murlidhar.
