Hyderabad, July 15, 2021: Telugu superstar Allu Arjun announced that her daughter, Allu Arha, will be making her acting debut as a child artist with Samantha Akkineni starrer, Shakuntalam movie. Directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is a mythological drama film set in the Himalayas. Satyadev's Legal Crime Thriller Film, Thimmarusu To Release On July 30 In Theaters

Hyderabad, July 8, 2021: After four back-to-back digital releases, talented Telugu actor Satya Dev's next film will be a theatrical one. The movie, titled "Thimmarasu" is all set to release in theaters on July 30. ## The legal crime thriller film is going to be the first Telugu cinema to hit the cinema halls post the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Directed by Sharan Koppisetty, Thimmarusu is the remake of the 2019 Kannada film Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni which itself was based on the 2017 Korean movie New Trial.## Produced by Mahesh S Koneru and Yarabolu Srujan under East Coast Productions, S Originals, the movie tipped to be a legal crime thriller. It also stars Priyanka Jawalkar and Ajay in the prominant roles. Sricharan Pakala has composed the music of the film. ## Satyadev was last seen in the Netflix anthology drama film, Pitta Kathalu. Hyderabad, July 6, 2021: Actress Taapsee Pannu, who started her acting career with the Telugu movie, Jhummandi Naadam, will be returning to headline another interesting project titled, Mishan Impossible, after two years of Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie, Game Over. ## Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya director Swaroop RSJ, will be directing Taapsee's new Telugu film. Produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy under the banner Matinee Entertainment, the film will be set in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and will revolve around bounty hunters. ## "From the last seven years, I've been on the lookout for stories that I want to see myself as an audience. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram Announces His First Pan-India Movie Titled - Devil: The British Secret Agent

Hyderabad, July 5, 2021: On his 43rd birthday today, Telugu star Nandamuri Kalyan Ram announced his first Pan-India film. The actor will be starring in & as Devil, a dark mystery film directed by Naveen Medaram and produced by Abhishek Nama under the Abhishek Pictures banner. ## The film, written by Pushpa writer Srikanth Vissa, will depict an unwritten chapter from history with Nandamuri portraying a secret agent named Devil. The makers also released the first look poster of Kalyan Ram from the film, in which he can be seen in a blazer and waistcoat paired with a dhoti and he holds a short gun in his hand. ## The actor underwent a remarkable transformation to play the British Secret Agent and his dressing and look are in perfect sync with the trend in the 40s. The story dates back to 1945 and is set in the backdrop of Madras Residency Of British India. ## Harshavardhan Rameshwar scores music for the film, which will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages. Devil is the 21st film of Kalyan Ram of his career. For his 20th film, NKR reunites with "118" director, KV Guhan. Telangana Film Chamber Requests To Telugu Producers To Stop OTT Releases Until October

Hyderabad, July 3, 2021: Telangana film chamber of commerce has expressed concern over Telugu producers opting for the direct-to-digital release of their films amid the covid-19 pandemic. As per reports, one of the leading production houses of Telugu industry, Suresh Productions is reportadly considering its most-awaited films like Narappa, Virata Parvam, among others for direct OTT release. ## Raising concern over the latest development in the Telugu industry, the Telangana film chamber has requested the producers to stop the OTT release of their films until October. The film chamber is hopeful that theaters will be fully operational by October this year. The film chamber has warned them for a future course of action if producers continue to release their films on OTT. ## However, the chamber headed by Hon. Secretary Sunil Narang, said that "If the theaters do not open by October, you can consider OTT release". This decision has been taken keeping the larger interest of the entire Telugu Film industry, which has been hit hard by the covid-19 pandemic. ## The film chamber also appealed to the Andhra Pradesh Government to immediately make a decision about ticket rates. "The survival of theaters is at stake with such low rates. Theaters will close and many will lose employment". Hyderabad, July 2, 2021: SS Rajamouli's period action drama film, RRR, is not going to be delayed anymore. The magnum opus has been planned for a grand theatrical release on October 13 this year in 5 Indian languages, and there is no change in the release date. ## Recently, RRR makers gave an official update that apart from two songs, the shoot of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan fronted has wrapped up. Now, it is said the final leg will commence from July 10 as the entire film has been planned to wrap up by the first week of August. For the two remaining songs, Alia Bhatt is also expected to join Ram Charan and NTR in Hyderabad. ## According to Pinkvilla, the writer of the film, KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is the father of SS Rajamouli, has confirmed that RRR is well on track for its scheduled release date which is October 13 this year. Hyderabad, July 1, 2021: Ravi Teja has commenced shooting for his 68th film today (July 1) in Hyderabad. It is said to be a unique thriller film in which Ravi Teja will play a never-seen-before role. Directed by debutante Sarath Mandava, the story of the film is reportadly inspired by real-life incidents. ## Majili (2019) actress Divyansha Kaushik has been cast to play the female lead opposite Teja in this yet-untitled film. The movie is being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas LLP. Hyderabad, June 28, 2021: Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to be directed by Mohan Raja for the first time in the Telugu remake of the 2019 Malayalam film, Lucifer, starring superstar Mohanlal. While the original Lucifer was a political drama film, the Telugu remake is said to be gone through a lot of changes to appeal to the mass audience. ## Mohan Raja has said to be re-worked on the script and now the Telugu version will have new flashback episodes where Chiranjeevi will have a romantic story. The Telugu remake will reportadly have Nayanthara romancing the superstar in the film, for which, Nayan's role has been given a significant space unlike Manju Warrior;s in original film. ## It will be Chiranjeevi's 153th film of his career which will be jointly produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. Thaman S will be scoring music of the film, and he has already started working on it. The national award-winning actor has reportadly signed his second Telugu movie with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri. ## According to Deccan Chronicle, producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi has been planning to make a trilingual film for a long time and he has found this potential in Dhanush. Nagavamsi feels a trilingual film would do justice to the script, given Dhanush's popularity in the South and in Bollywood. ## It is said that Dhanush has agreed to work on the Atluri film. It will be Karnan actor's second back-to-back trilingual movie, to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, after Sekhar Kammula's film. He already has a Hindi film, Atrangi Re, in the pipeline that is expected to release soon. ## Meanwhile, producer Nagavamsi is already working on the Bollywood remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and co-producing the Jersey remake, which stars Shahid Kapoor. The Zombie Reddy had made the announcement and promised to take the Telugu audience into a new cinematic universe with his favorite, superhero genre. ## And now, today on June 25, the movie has been officially launched in Hyderabad with the pooja ceremony. Teja Sajja, who played the lead role in Prasanth Varma's previous directorial, Zombie Reddy, has been cast to play the lead in Hanu-Man as well. ## The fourth directorial film of Varma will be produced by K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment.
