Rajamouli's last film "RRR" gave him international acclaim and now, he is making sure his upcoming films are on the international standards.## At the time when he is focussing on learning bigger things in filmmaking, Rajamouli reveals once again that each learning is taking him closer to his dream project, which is epic Mahabharat. The "Baahubali" filmmaker has often spoken about the making of Mahabharat, and now, he elaborates things further. ## During a recent event, Rajamouli said that "If I get to the point of making Mahabharat, it would take me a year or more just to read the versions of Mahabharat that are available in the country. At present, I can only assume that it would be a 10-part film".## He further said that bringing this epic to life is the ultimate goal of his career and with each passing film, he is getting closer to his dream. "Every film I make, I feel that I'm learning something to ultimately make Mahabharat. The movie was released in October of last year in Japan, and even after 6 months, it is playing in a handful of cinemas. ## A great example of "RRR's" longevity at the Japan box office is that it scored the biggest Monday collection on May 1, which was the 193rd day since its release. No one had thought "RRR" to come this long way, and now, Japan has become the highest-grossing overseas market for film. ## The movie has so far grossed about $14.30 million in 197 days in Japan. It might already have or be about to cross "RRR's" $14.30 million collection in the USA. Hyderabad, April 30 - Telugu mystic action thriller Virupaksha, starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon, is continuing its strong performance at the domestic box office and is proving to be the first choice of Telugu moviegoers in the second week as well. ## Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, "Virupaksha" was the number one Telugu movie on Saturday with a gross collection of 3.80 crores, outdoing the new release "Agent" which grossed just 1.80 crores on its second day. ## Meanwhile, the total worldwide collection of "Virupaksha" has around 64 crores, including around 35 crores share collection in 9 days, becoming the highest-grossing film ever for Sai Dharam Tej. The previous biggest grosser of the actor was "Prati Roju Pandage" (2019) which grossed around 61 crores worldwide. ## The domestic total collection of the latest flick is around 54 crores, including 28 crores share collection in the two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Mumbai, April 28 - Telugu mystic action thriller film Virupaksha has turned out to be a huge success at the box office. The Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon-fronted movie has crossed the 50 crores gross mark worldwide within the opening week and is looking unstoppable despite the new releases. ## Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, "Virupaksha" is now gearing up for its wide Pan India release in multiple languages. The producer announced today that the movie will next release in Hindi by Goldmines Telefilms, in Tamil by Studio Green, and in Malayalam by E4 Entertainment.## The movie will be hitting theaters on May 5 in the aforementioned languages. Hyderabad, April 26 - Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni's long-awaited spy action thriller Agent is getting ready to hit the big screen this Friday, April 28. The Pan India movie is directed by Surender Reddy who last directed a movie was Chiranjeevi's "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" in 2019. ## A few months back, "Agent" was one of the most-anticipated Telugu movies of the tier 2 heroes, but, the continued delay in the production hit the hype. However, the trailer and the unique promotional activities have brought the movie into the scene again and it is currently carrying a decent buzz among the moviegoers. ## Meanwhile, the makers have locked the worldwide theatrical business, and irrespective of the buzz around the movie, it has managed to close a high business for a non-superstar movie.
