Prabhas' 'Salaar With Director Prashanth Neel To Also Release In IMAX Screens

Bengaluru, June 21 - As Pan India superstar Prabhas' "Adipurush" is underperforming after the gigantic opening weekend, the focus is now gradually shifting to his next film Salaar with KGF makers, director Prashanth Neel and producer Hombale Films. ## Ever since the movie was announced, the talks widespread regarding whether it could become a bigger blockbuster than "KGF 2". The makers haven't released much content about the movie so far but the first look glimpse got a huge positive response which increased the hype. ## Now, as the release is getting nearer (September 28), Hombale Films is gearing up to unveil the teaser and other stuff. In between the teaser talks, it has been revealed that "Salaar" will also have an IMAX release other than the regular 2D format. It is said that works related to the IMAX format upgrade are in progress. ## "Salaar" has been the most hyped film of Prabhas since "Baahubali 2", and the makers are hopeful that it will create new records at the box office. The movie has Shruti Haasan as the female lead while it also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Eeswari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Saran Shakthi, and others in significant roles. ## The makers have reconfirmed the release date for September 28 with a countdown to 100 days. The film, however, has been hitting news headlines for quite some time now and the latest one is regarding the major changes it is going through on crew and casting. ## According to Pinkvilla, actress Pooja Hegde is no longer a part of the movie as she has backed out due to the continuous delays in the shoot. ## It is said that "some of the portions already shot were getting into the reshoot mode. There were also changes in the script at regular intervals and after several contemplations on what to do, Pooja Hegde has decided to part ways citing date issues", revealed a source.## The talented actress was reportedly not happy with how things were proceeding and put forth her plight with the producers and director before moving out. Hyderabad, June 17 - It is very well known to everyone that Pan India superstar Prabhas is doing a horror-comedy film with Telugu director Maruthi. The movie also stars Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt in a prominent role along with Malavika Mohanan as the female lead.## The movie hasn't been officially announced yet but it went on floors last year and preceding slowly due to Prabhas' busy schedule. Meanwhile, it was reported that the movie got titled "Raja Deluxe" but the latest reports have revealed that it will have a different title. ## According to The Free Press Journal, the movie has been titled Royal after much discussion. "There are three suggested titles Raja Deluxe, Ambassador, and Royal. The makers have zeroed in on the title Royal". The official confirmation is yet to be made on the same.## The report further revealed that around 50% of the shoot is completed and it will pick the pace now after Prabhas done with "Adipurush" which has been released in theaters. ## Prabhas is reportedly not charging any remuneration for doing "Royal", instead, he will share profit in the film. Actress Mrunal Thakur was roped in to play the female lead. ## The movie was officially launched on June 14, and now, the reports have revealed that title and the release date. According to Mirchi9, the romantic family drama film has been titled "Family Star". A new title "Kutumba Rao" is also in consideration, however, the chances for the same are low. ## The report further revealed that "Family Star" is aiming for Sankranthi 2024 release to cater to family audiences. If not Sankranthi, then the rumors say it may release on the Maha Shivratri occasion. While TNR is scheduled for October 2023, Ravi Teja has already locked his next film. ## On June 12, the Mass Maharaja announced his maiden collaboration with cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Gattamneni's action thriller film, titled Eagle. It is produced by People Media Factory which previously directed Ravi Teja's biggest grosser "Dhamaka" last year. ## "Eagle" will see Ravi Teja donning multiple characters. He is reportedly playing a most wanted painter and a cotton farmer and has other avatars too. The makers unveiled the title of the movie with a short glimpse which shows the actor standing near a lake, partially showing his face. ## The title logo and glimpses of "Eagle" are striking and promise an intriguing action thriller film with top-notch technical standards. Hyderabad, June 10 - After back-to-back big successes, veteran Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna returns with another solid mass entertainer titled Bhagavanth Kesari which is the actor's 108th film. ## The teaser of "Bhagavanth Kesari", directed by Anil Ravipudi, was launched today on the occasion of NBK's 63rd birthday. The 1-minute and 24 seconds promo consists of mass elements with Balakrishna making a powerful appearance in his mass look and dialogue delivery. ## The teaser begins with the introduction of the lead antagonist of the film played by Arjun Rampal with chest-thumping dialogues by NBK in the background, explaining the difference between the arrogance of a ruler and a stubborn person. ## NBK introduces himself as a son of the jungle named Nelakonda Bhagavanth Kesari and his solid Hindi is one of the major highlights of the teaser.
