SSMB28: Mahesh Babu's Film With Trivikram To Be Made In A Budget of Rs. 200 Crores?

Hyderabad, May 31 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has reunited with one of the top directors Trivikram for his next, called "SSMB 28". The shoot for the much-anticipated film will kickstart next month and the film is slated to hit theaters around this time next year. ## Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are coming together for the third time. Earlier, the duo collaborated on Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010). Their upcoming collaboration is already getting hyped and if reports are to be believed, the film will be made on a whopping budget of Rs. 200 crores. ## According to a Telugu 360 report, Mahesh Babu will get paid Rs. 60 crores while Trivikram will fetch approx. 50 crores. Haarika and Hassine Creations, the production house of the movie, is reportedly keen to complete in around 90 crores budget which includes production cost and the fee of other cast and crew members. ## Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead opposite Babu and this marks their second film together after the national award-winning film "Maharshi". The music of the film is composed by the brilliant Thaman S, A.S. Prakash is the art director and Madhie will crank the camera. Mahesh Babu's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' Tentetive OTT Release Date Revealed

Hyderabad, May 26 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh-starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata is doing very well at the box office as it nears 200 crores gross worldwide. Despite mixed reviews, the movie has managed to sail through and is very close to earning hit status. ## Directed by Parasuram Petla, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, according to reports will stream on Amazon Prime Video after completing its theatrical run. According to the latest reports, the film will be released on Prime Video either on June 10 or June 24. However, neither Prime Video nor the creators have made any announcements regarding the OTT premiere yet. ## SVP is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment, and 14 Reels Plus. The film was released on May 12th and took a fantastic opening of 55+ crores gross at the domestic box office. Hyderabad, May 23 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" is nearing Rs. 200 crores worldwide. Directed by Parasuram, the movie received mixed reviews which affected its biz over the weekdays. However, the star power of Mahesh Babu saved the movie as it is now heading towards a hit status. ## "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" had grossed Rs 144.3 crores in the first week at the domestic box office, which is the highest opening total for a regional movie in 2022. The collection on the second weekend remained on the lower side as it grossed Rs. 10.20 crores, pushing the total domestic gross to Rs. 154.5 crores through the second Sunday. ## The movie is super strong in the Telugu states. Amid the allegations of inflating box office collection, the movie has managed to collect Rs. 137 crores gross in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including Rs. 93.05 crores share collection. Outside Telugu states, SVP is not that strong with approx. 17 crores gross, including Rs. 11 crores in Karnataka. ## At the international box office, SVP has so far grossed approx. 28 crores, helping worldwide gross collection to reach approx. 183 crores. The last film of Venkatesh to release in theaters was "Venky Mama" (2019) as his next two films, "Narappa" and "Drusyam 2" were released direct-to-OTT via Amazon Prime Video in 2019. ## Directed by Anil Ravipudi, "F3" marks the big-screen return of the actor after almost three years and he has promised a fantastic theatrical experience to his fans who were upset with him for sending the aforementioned movies to OTT. The makers held the pre-release even of "F3" on May 21st in Hyderabad. ## During the event, Victory Venkatesh said, "My fans were a little disappointed when my films like Narappa and Drishyam 2 were released in OTT. Hyderabad, May 21 - Noted Telugu film producer, Dil Raju has said that the Tollywood film industry urgently needs a proper tracking system to stop producers from inflating box office collections. ## Inflating box office numbers in Tollywood is not new as the numbers game has risen to the top of the priority list in Tollywood. The latest film in question is Mahesh Babu's "Sarakru Vaari Paata". While the producers have revealed that the movie is nearing Rs. 200 crores worldwide, Twitter has been buzzing with questions about how the producers were able to pull in such large crowds despite the film's mixed reviews.## In response to a similar question, producer Dil Raju stated that this trend has continued for all films and that no one film stands out in terms of box office receipts. He hopes that in Telugu states, proper tracking will be implemented to prevent these inflated collections.## "It's not fair to judge a film solely on its box office receipts. Even without proof, a few websites published that some of the 'SVP' collections were simply fake.
