Hyderabad, November 1 - Megastar Chiranjeevi, who will next be seen in Koratala Siva's "Acharya", is gearing up to begin the shooting of director Meher Ramesh's "Bhola Shankar", which is said to be the Telugu remake of Thala Ajith's Vedalam. Keerthy Suresh will be playing Chiranjeevi's sister in the film. ## As team "Bhola Shankar" is in readiness to begin the regular shoot, the popular actress in Tollywood, Tamannaah Bhatia, has reportedly been cast to play the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi. It is said that the megastar wanted someone, who is good both at dancing and acting and Tamannaah seemed to be the perfect fit for the role. ## The much-anticipated film revolves around brother-sister sentiments with both Chiranjeevi and Keerthy portraying those roles. Tamannaah will be stepping into the shoes of Shruti Hassan from the original film. She is reportedly charging a hefty price for the role. During the media interaction recently, the Baahubali filmmaker had spoken elaborately on all the questions asked by his fans and the media. ## Having worked with some of the biggest Telugu actors over the years, SS Rajamouli was asked one of the fans why he never directed Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Considering the fact that Pawan Kalyan is one of the biggest stars in the south film industry, Rajamouli was quizzed about directing Telugu's 'Powerstar'.## "I really love Pawan Kalyan", said Rajamouli and went on to explain why things failed to materialize and how both went their ways to attain their own interests.## "In the initial times in my career, I tried my best to come up with a story for Pawan Kalyan. I always had that intent to direct him. Mumbai, October 29 - Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli and the largest multiplex chain of India, PVR Cinemas has collaborated for a first-of-its-kind association for the upcoming magnum opus, RRR. As per the collaboration, PVR has decided to alter its brand identity and logo to the movie name RRR. Starting today, PVR will now be referred to as 'PVRRR'. ## Announcing the same, RRR director SS Rajamouli and Ajay Bijli – Chairman & Managing Director PVR Ltd have unveiled the new 'PVRRR' logo in front of the gathered media. The Tollywood superstar, in a compassionate gesture, has promised to finance the cancer treatment of one of his fans named Venkat.## Venkat, who is suffering from cancer, met Chiranjeevi at his office on Tuesday and explained his health condition to him. Despite his busy schedule, the megastar met his fan personally and came to know about his health condition. Touched by his story, Chiranjeevi promised him to help financially. ## The megastar also saw the medical reports of Venkat and advised him to seek a second opinion from a private hospital in Hyderabad. He had referred Venkat to the hospital personally, after which he even asked his team to update him on the case. Chiranjeevi also helped Venkat by giving him Rs 2 lakh for his immediate expenses.## "I am blessed to be called his fan. Hyderabad, October 24 - Telugu musical romantic comedy film, "Pelli SandaD" has surprised one and all at the box office. Despite getting bad reviews from critics and audiences, the movie has earned a clean Hit status in Telugu. It reported house full shows at some places of Hyderabad in the opening weekend. ## Directed by Gowri Ronanki, the movie has earned approx Rs. 7.80 crores net in Telugu. In the first five days, Pelli SandaD grossed approx Rs. 7.3 crores in India including AP/TG share of Rs. 4.41 crores. The movie cost between 5-7 crores and it turned out to be a profitable venture for the makers. ## It is a sequel to a 1996 film of the same name. The film marks the acting debut of Raghavendra Rao who directed the previous film. The movie tells the story of Vashishtha (Roshann) who falls in love with Sahasra (Sree Leela) at his cousin's wedding. However, things started happening when Sahasra father (Prakash Raj) knows about their relationship, he apposes and fixed her wedding with her cousin Chintoo (Vennela Kishore). ## The movie, however, received criticism for the story, screenplay, and Raghavendra Rao's acting. As expected, the teaser received an overwhelming response from the fans as it has become the most-viewed teaser for a Tollywood film of all time in the first 24-hours.## Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the teaser of period romantic drama film got over 42.6 million views on UV Creations Youtube channel. It surpassed Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" which got 23 million views in the first 24-hours. It has also become the 7th most liked Tollywood film teaser with 493K likes in the 24-hours. ## Radhe Shyam is simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu languages under the production banners of T-Series and UV Creations. On the T-Series Youtube channel, the teaser received 3.9M+ views during the said time. Overall, it has over 46.6 million views (T-Series+UV Creations), which is more than Prabhas' own film "Saaho" (44.5M). ## Yash starrer Kannada film "KGF: Chapter 2" teaser is the most viewed Indian teaser of all time with 68.8 million views for all versions. The glimpse shows the rustic getups of Nani and Keerthy Suresh and it looks very promising. Dasara will portray Nani in a never-seen-before role as shown in the glimpse. ## According to reports, Nani plays a rural guy in this intense action drama set in Telangana.
