The production company acquired the rights of senior investigative journalist Pavan C. Lall's book "Flawed: The Rise and Fall of India's Diamond Mogul Nirav Modi", which will be adapted into a dramatized, multi-season series.## The scripting of the series is currently underway and a set of exciting creative talent is being attached to the project.## Excited about lending rights of his book for the digital series, Pavan C. The upcoming web project will focus on the culture and the lives of the sex workers based in that area. Though the theme is much similar to Alia Bhatt's upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhansali's project will have a different storyline. ## In recent times, names Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, and Huma Qureshi have come to the fore to feature in the film. Mumbai, July 30, 2021: Veteran producer Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP Movies has announced a spy-thriller web series - "Panthers", in association with Premnath Rajagopalan of Blue Monkey Films. The multi-season series will be directed by Rensil D'Silva, whose thriller "Dial 100", starring Manoj Bajpayee, Neena Gupta, and Sakshi Tanwar is debuting August 6 on ZEE5.## "Panthers" marks Screwvala's third collaboration with Blue Monkey after a thriller "A Thursday" and hockey biopic, Dhyanchand. Mumbai, July 28, 2021: Amid the rumors of Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte starring in a Netflix original film, the streamer has officially announced the movie titled - Monica, O My Darling. The film is named after RD Burman's cabaret item number that was filmed on Helen in the 1971 movie, Caravan. ## Announcing the film, Netflix unveiled the first look posters of Radhika Apte, Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi among others featuring in the film. The movie will be directed by Vasan Bala, known for Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Netflix series 'Ray', among others while it will be produced by Sarita Patil of Matchbox Shots. ## Director Vasan Bala said in a statement, "Making a noir film was always on my wishlist, and making it for Netflix with Matchbox Shots makes it an absolutely riveting combination. Mumbai, July 28, 2021: Ajay Devgn and Priti Sinha are producing a web series on Disney Plus Hotstar, titled "Six Suspects", the official adaptation of author Vikas Swarup's 2016 book by the same name. The show reportadly went on floors in February 2021 end. ## Ajay and Priti had assigned Tigmanshu Dhulia to direct the show while Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi and Richa Chadha roped in to play the leading roles. The web show will also star Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, and Sharib Hashmi in important roles. ## The "Six Suspects" web series marks Ajay Devgn's digital debut as a producer as well as Priti Sinha's. Priti is the daughter of (late) Vinay Sinha who produced the Salman Khan-Aamir Khan-Raveena Tandon-Karisma Kapoor's unforgettable comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna' (1994). Priti is Ajay's rakhi sister.## It has been reported that Ajay and Priti have acquired the rights to two books of Swaroop- 'Six Suspects' and 'The Accidental Apprentice'. Dhulia has completed 50 percent of the show in places like Delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Allahabad and is currently shooting in Mumbai. ## Vikas Swarup's book "Q & A" was adapted into the academy-award-winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire' directed by Danny Boyle. Rudra, which is a Hindi adaptation of the British TV series "Luther" starring Idris Elba in the lead roles, was announced in April this year. ## The crime drama thriller series will have an ensemble cast featuring some very talented artists. In June, it was reported that South Indian actress, Raashii Khanna will play the female lead in the series. Confirming her inclusion, Applause Entertainment has brought the actress on board to star alongside Ajay. Recently, Esha Deol was also confirmed to reunite with Ajay in the series for the first time in 13 years. ## "I am very excited to be a part of Applause Entertainment's Rudra – The Edge of Darkness. Zack Snyder Teams Up With Netflix For Army Of The Dead 2 And Many More In First-Look Deal For Two Years

Los Angeles, July 22, 2021: After the huge success of the Zombie movie "Army Of The Dead", which is among the most viewed Netflix movies of all time, the streaming giant has signed a first-look deal with filmmaker Zack Snyder for two years. The deal is under the aegis of Zack Snyder's production company, Stone Quarry, which he runs with wife Deborah Snyder, and executive Wesley Coller. ## As per the deal, Snyder will make and create content for Netflix including the sequel to Army Of The Dead, which gained 75 million views in the first four weeks of its debut. The first film that falls under the new deal is a sci-fi adventure tale "Rebel Moon". It is a Star Wars-inspired movie that will be co-written by Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. The production on "Revel Moon" is expected to begin in early 2022. ## The sequel to Army Of The Dead will be co-written by Snyder with Shay Hatten, who had also co-written the first movie with him. Among the other content from Snyders for Netflix, a German-made prequel to the Zombie movie, titled Army of Thieves, and an anime spinoff, were already in production ever before the movie was released in May. The prequel is on track for a release later this year while the anime is set to debut in spring 2022.## But that's not all. The other projects that are planned under the Netflix – Stone Quarry partnership are an animated series, "Twilight of the Gods"; and an action film that will mark the directorial debut of stunt coordinator, Damon Caro, a long-time collaborator of Snyders.## Previously, Snyders' Stone Quarry company had a deal with Warner Bros., for whom Snyder guided, either as director or producer, most of the DC superhero flicks in the modern age of comic book movies (except the Christopher Nolan Batman movies). Snyder's last offering for Warner Bros. was the director's restored version of the much-maligned 2017 Justice League, "Zack Snyder’s Justice League", which debuted on HBO Max in March 2021. ## Stay tuned...
