Kochi, April 21, 2021: It was reported last year that Vyjayanthi Movies will be joining hands with Dulquer Salmaan yet again for a period love story. And now, on the occasion of Ram Navami, makers have released a short video that gives us a glimpse of Salmaan's character as Lieutenant Ram. ## Said to be a period love story set in 1964, the untitled film will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, who is best known for directing movies like LIE, Padi Padi Leche Manasu, among others. The iconic production house Swapna Cinema is also associated with the movie. ## ## Just like Mahanati, this film too will be multi-lingual and will be released in three South Indian languages, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. The music of the film will be composed by Vishal Chandrasekar. While the film is produced by Priyanka Dutt under Swapna Cinemas, it will be presented by Vyjayanthi Movies.## Meanwhile, Dulquer was last seen in the Tamil Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, which released in early 2020. He is now waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Kurup. Kerala Film Body Warns Fahadh Faasil After Consecutive OTT Releases

The Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) has time and again warned actors for releasing their movies on OTT platforms. After expressing disappointment over Mohanlal's decision of releasing "Drishyam 2" on Amazon Prime Video, the film body has now given an ultimatum to Fahadh Faasil that his films will not be allowed to release in theatres if he continues to release his films on OTT platforms. ## The warning from Kerala Film Body came after Faasil's three movies released directly on the OTT platforms which is a big setback for theater owners. He first released the shot-from-home lockdown thriller "C U Soon" on Amazon Prime Video. It was, however, released during the peek of the pandemic on 1 September 2020, which left no choice for makers but to make it available directly on OTT. ## Though, "C U Soon" released when theaters were closed, recently, two of his films "Irul" (April 2) and "Joji" (April 7) were also released on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video respectively despite the fact that theatres have opened up now in Kerala and elsewhere, including all the southern states.## The FEUOK members are of the stand that they would not allow Fahadh's upcoming movies in theatres if he continues to cooperate with OTT platforms. Actor Dileep and producer B Unnikrishnan had talked with Fahadh Faasil over the phone regarding the matter and warned him that his upcoming big-budgeted, Malik, which is scheduled to release on Eid, will not be allowed to hit theaters if he does not support theaters. ## The Film Organization has requested Faasil to take a decision at the earliest. The actor's decision, however, is awaited. Meanwhile, the Film Body has also decided not to screen Mohanlal's "Drishyam 2" in theaters. Mohanlal's performance and Jeethu Joseph's writing and direction are receiving blockbuster reviews from critics and fans all over the country and it has already gained the biggest blockbuster of the year status on OTT for getting never seen before response. With just a few days left for the OTT release of the most awaited movie, 'Drishyam-2', the Kerala Film Chamber has called this move disastrous for the film theatre owners.## Expressing disappointment, the Film Chamber President Vijayakumar told the media that there is a moral responsibility for actors towards theatres that have actually elevated all of them to the level they are at the moment. ## "It's the movie theatres which elevated all of them to their present level and hence it's not just Mohanlal alone, all the stars have a moral responsibility as all of them gained everything from movie theatres", said Vijayakumar.## Vijayakumar added that the chamber is not against anyone particular 'actor' but speaking for the movie theatres, as that in itself an industry which is losing ground due to various reasons and all those attached to these movie theatres is facing tough times.
