Mumbai, November 23 - Superstar Salman Khan's Tiger 3 has crossed 400 crores gross at the worldwide box office, becoming the 5th film of the actor to do so. The Maneesh Sharma's directorial movie reached the milestone in 11 days. ## "Tiger 3", which is a part of Yash Raj Films Spy Universe, grossed around 9 crores worldwide on its 11th day which took its total collection to over 403 crores. In India, the film has minted around 300 crores while overseas collection is approx. 103 crores so far. ## In the Spy Universe, the latest blockbuster is the 4th movie out of 5 to top 400 crores gross worldwide. Mumbai, November 22 - Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's biographical drama film 12th Fail has emerged as a sleeper hit at the box office. The film starring Vikrant Massey is continuing with a steady run at the domestic box office. ## At the time of the film's release on October 27, not many people were aware of it but the super positive word of mouth spread like wildfire. It has grossed approximately 49.75 crores at the worldwide box office and as I type this, the movie has crossed the 50 crores mark. ## "12th Fail" was made on a budget of around 20 crores, and crossing 50 crores gross worldwide is a big achievement. Mumbai, November 22 - Director Om Raut, after the huge blockbuster success of "Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero" in 2020, came up with the even bigger or perhaps the biggest film of his career Adipurush. The film starred superstar Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, among others in key roles.## Produced by T-Series and Retrophiles, "Adipurush" was director Raut's modern take on the epic "Ramayana" and he announced the film with huge enthusiasm in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the filmmaker had no idea back then that it was going to be the most horrible experience of his career and that he shouldn't have modernized the epic. ## The movie had already become the centre of controversy when the first teaser was dropped last year. The teaser was slammed for the poor VFX and the wrong depiction of the characters of Ramayana. This is the first collaboration between Kartik and Karan who were previously supposed to join hands for "Dostana 2". ## It is said that Kartik was regularly visiting the Dharma Productions office in the last couple of months which led to speculations about the maiden venture. Now, on the occasion of Kartik's 33rd birthday today, the yet-untitled movie has officially been confirmed by the studio with a confirmed release date of 15 August 2025. ## The film celebrates the Indian Army and is set against a backdrop not explored to date. Aseem Arora has written the script and the shoot for the same will commence in the second half of 2024. Mumbai, November 21 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's spy action thriller Tiger 3 is heading towards finishing a little under 300 crores net box office mark in India. The movie had another drop of around 10-15% today which is a normal drop during the weekdays. ## Directed by Maneesh Sharma, "Tiger 3" reached around 244 crores net in all versions in the first 10 days. The film will have one more week to have a free run before "Animal" and "Sam Bahadur" arrive on December 1st to make life difficult for it. ## The third instalment in the Tiger franchise practically has 10 days left to collect as much as it can but still, the film is highly unlikely to top 300 crores net box office mark, a benchmark which was looking like a cakewalk before the release of the film. ## With the current trend and considering no real challenge before December 1st, "Tiger 3" is looking to finish around 280-290 crores net collection, which is no way a small number but surely underwhelming for a franchise like "Tiger" which is a part of YRF's Spy Universe, the biggest action franchise. ## "Tiger 3" will end up as a successful venture but Yash Raj Films will surely consider it a missed opportunity to have another solid blockbuster after "Pathaan". The movie opened to mixed reviews which might have dented its chances to have a long run but the cricket World Cup matches have also cost it at least 30 crores which could have easily taken it past 300 crores net. ## YRF opted for a unique release strategy for the film as it is a rare Bollywood film to have opened on Sunday, that too on the day of Diwali. A traditional Friday release could have massively benefitted it during the long Holiday period. Vikas Bahl's directorial film was touted to be a never-before-seen before sci-fi thriller but the audiences didn't turn to see it in theatres. ## Produced by Pooja Entertainment, "Ganapath" was released on October 20 during the Dussehra weekend but its fate was almost sealed after it opened to a disaster number of 2.50 crores net. The extremely negative reviews and audiences' word of mouth made sure it died down in the opening weekend itself with a net collection of 7 crores. ## Though the collections of the film were negligible after the opening weekend, the lack of a big release kept it in theatres for a couple of weeks. The Maneesh Sharma-directorial movie scored the 4th highest first seven days cumulative collection for a Bollywood movie. ## "Tiger 3" scored an estimated 17 crores net collection in all versions on its first Saturday (7th day) which takes its total collection to around 217 crores in 7 days. In Hindi, the movie scored an estimated 16-17 crores, making it the 6th biggest first 7 days cumulative collection scorer. ## With a collection of approximately 212+ crores in 7 days, "Tiger 3" has become the 34th film ever to enter the 200 crores net box office club in Hindi. Today's collection will make it the 27th biggest Hindi net grosser of all time. ## "Tiger 3", which is the 5th film in YRF's Spy Universe, needed to score the big second weekend to stay in the race to top 300 crores net. It has become the 9th film of the actor to do so and the first since "Bharat" in 2019. ## Directed by Maneesh Sharma, "Tiger 3" was released on Sunday, November 12, on the day of Diwali and took the biggest opening for the actor as well as for a Diwali day release. The movie showed a good jump on its second day to collect close to 60 crores net before holding well on Tuesday. The biz dropped a bit on its 4th day due to the World Cup match but managed to hold well on the following day. ## "Tiger 3" has scored approximately 187.65 crores net collection in the first five days in all versions, which is the highest ever first 5-day cumulative collection for Salman Khan. In terms of gross collection, it has minted approx. 225 crores in India and allied to 72 crores overseas collection, the latest blockbuster reached 297 crores in 5 days and has crossed the triple century mark in the first shows on day 6. ## The Yash Raj Films production is the 6th outright Bollywood movie of 2023 to top 300 crores worldwide gross. The Vikrant Massey-led real-life inspired drama film has crossed 35 crores net mark in three weeks and still going strong. ## The film was released on October 27 amid very low expectations to do wonders at the box office. It, however, managed to take a decent opening of 1.10 crores net and since then, it continued with good momentum after receiving a super positive reception from audiences.## "12th Fail" scored 13 crores net in the first week before commencing the second week on a strong note. It eventually had a bigger second week than the first one with a net collection of 14.11 crores. The film managed to top the opening day collection of 43 crores net on its third day with 43.50 crores, despite the little drop in multiplexes. ## Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" is the biggest grosser in the first 3-day opening weekend with 180.45 crores, followed by "Pathaan" with 161 crores. "Tiger 3" didn't have a usual weekend as it was released on Sunday, but it benefitted due to the Diwali holidays. It has additionally scored 3 crores net in Tamil and Telugu for 147.50 crores total net collection in the weekend. ## Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the 5th Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe film has minted approx. 65 crores overseas collection and allied with approx. 177 crores domestic gross, "Tiger 3" has scored approx. 242 crores worldwide in the first three days.
