'Ram Siya Ram' Song In 'Adipurush' 24-Hours Views Count On YouTube

Mumbai, May 30 - After the massive response to Jai Shri Ram song a week ago, the new song Ram Siya Ram from director Om Raut's Adipurush was launched yesterday, and as expected, it turned out to be another massive hit for the makers. ## Sung and composed by Sachet-Parampara from the lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla, Ram Siya Ram was launched on T-Series' YouTube channel, and in the first 24 hours, it received huge 38+ million views in all languages, which is the second highest ever for a movie song in India. ## The Hindi version of the song got little over 32 million views in 24 hours, which is the second highest ever after the film's first song Jai Shri Ram which scored around 32.20 million views. The other versions of the latest hit song scored around 6 million views, including 4.5 million of the Telugu version. The Hindi version is currently trending at number 2 on YouTube. ## ## "Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations, the movie stars Prabhas as Lord Rama alongside Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, among other key characters. Mumbai, May 30 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the few actors who has openly taken responsibility for his films that haven't worked at the box office. His last film, "Selfiee" was an outright disaster despite getting mixed to positive reviews. ## Akshay believed that in the post covid-19 pandemic, the audience's taste has changed and they want to watch only larger-than-life films in theaters. He said that the change is happening in the industry and the movies are being planned accordingly. The covid was a huge setback but Akshay is hopeful that by the end of 2024, the industry will have stability and would be in a better position than it is today.## Box office results aside, the "Ram Setu" actor has been accused of charging high upfront fees which lead to an increase in budget and if the movie fails it results in huge losses to the makers. However, the actor revealed that he is not charging upfront fees for quite some time now and all the rumors about his remuneration are not true. ## "It's not true. I am not charging upfront. I am the partner in the films. If Selfiee has flopped, I will not get money or will get just 10% of what my fee was. Today, if you come to me with an idea and if we work on the film, we will work as partners and release it together. If it works, both of us will earn. If not, we both will earn less or not at all. But it won't go in minus", he said in an interview with Mint. ## He further said that despite the fact that Selfiee and Rakshabandhan did not work at the box office, Disney or Zee have not lost money because of these films as he was the one who didn't earn because of not charging upfront. Since then, various actors have been approached to play the legendary cricketer but things didn't materialize. ## Now, according to Peepingmoon.com, the biographical drama is back on track, and pre-production has already started. It is said that the makers are in advanced talks with the supremely talented actor Ayushmann Khurana to headline the project.## Ayushmann, who has wooed audiences with a variety of roles, has reportedly been in talks for this much-awaited biopic for several months and it's only a matter of some formalities before he is officially signed on for the role. The 1 minute and 13 seconds video shows glimpses of an unrecognized Randeep Hooda as social activist Veer Savarkar. ## The teaser promises to have asked tough questions, and one of them is who killed Veer Savarkar's history. One of the major highlights of the teaser is when Savarkar says that Mahatma Gandhi wasn't wrong, but India could have won freedom 35 years earlier if he would have not followed his non-violence ideology. ## Through teaser, the makers have also claimed that Savarkar inspired great freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Subash Chandra Bose, and Khudiram Bose.## Randeep Hooda has himself directed as well as co-produced this flick under Randeep Hooda films. Hyderabad, May 28 - Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" is getting ready to release on June 16 this year amid huge anticipation among fans and trade. The epic drama is expected to be a money spinner for the makers and if reports are to be believed, the Telugu states theatrical rights are already get sold. ## Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory acquired the Telugu states theatrical rights of "Adipurush" for 185 crores, including GST. ## The producer officially confirmed the aforementioned price in a recent interview with Mirchi9 and said that they will also be buying Prabhas' "Spirit" which will be produced by T-Series and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.## "Adipurush" has been able to generate huge buzz after the unanimously positive response to the trailers and songs. Mumbai, May 27 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's much-awaited social comedy-drama film OMG - Oh My God! - 2 will be released in theaters, contrary to rumors about the direct-to-digital release. ## Directed by Amit Rai, the movie is a spiritual sequel to "OMG – Oh My God! (2012) and stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam. The movie has been in production since 2021. The movie was supposed to release in cinemas last year, however, due to the delay in the shoot, the makers postponed the release indefinitely. ## It was recently reported that the movie has opted for a direct OTT release, however, the makers never confirmed the same. Now, according to Pinkvilla, "OMG 2" is being readied for its theatrical release this year as the makers never discussed its OTT release. ## "Akshay Kumar along with his partners, Ashwin Varde, Viacom 18, and Jio Studios have decided on a theatrical release for Oh My God 2. Several discussions happen throughout the course of making, but, Oh My God 2 was always announced as a theatrical venture. The movie reunites the lead pair Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma after "Commando 3" which was released in 2019.## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Adah said that she is excited to be back as Bhavana Reddy in the upcoming film. "I am doing Commando with him (Vipul Shah), where I again play Bhavana Reddy. So for the action fans, that’s still there. There will be more action and more comedy... that role stays as is in Commando". ## Andy Long, who is Jackie Chan's stunt director, is on board the movie. "So the action is also going to be quite cool, and they are using different objects as weapons. Mumbai, May 26 - Director Sudipto Sen's blockbuster The Kerala Story continues to make money at the box office after putting up a solid third-week collection. During its 3rd week, the movie also crossed the 200 crores net mark and became only the second Bollywood movie of the year to do so. ## The Adah Sharma-fronted movie scored approx. 41.50 crores net collection (-54.21% from the second week), which is the 6th biggest third-week total for a Bollywood movie of all time. This pushed the total net collection of "The Kerala Story" to over 212 crores, which makes it the 24th highest-earning Hindi of all time. ## "The Kerala Story" will look to top "The Kashmir Files" in its lifetime run. TKF scored approx. 252 crores net collection, which is the 16th highest-ever for a Hindi movie. The yet-untitled movie will jointly be produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films. ## The upcoming movie marks the maiden Bollywood movie of director Andrrews who is known for Malayalam blockbusters such as "Mumbai Police" and "Kayamkulam Kochunni" while it also marks the first time that Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films have worked together. ## Shahid Kapoor said, "It's rare to find a subject that has action, thrill, drama, and suspense all packed into one script and I am really looking forward to this. Mumbai, May 24 - One of the biggest Tamil hits of the last year, romantic-drama Love Today is getting a Hindi remake. The Hindi filmmakers continue to invest in remakes despite the fact that most of them are not performing well. ## It was recently revealed that Phantom Studios in association with "Love Today" original producers AGS Entertainment will be producing the Bollywood remake. Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have locked the lead star cast and director for the same. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, superstar Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan, and Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor, have been locked in to headline the "Love Today" remake. "Laal Singh Chaddha" director Advait Chandan has been brought on board to helm the Hindi version. ## "The movie is an entertaining look at love in today's technologically advanced world and has very well been adapted for Hindi-speaking audiences. The makers have made several changes to make it a little more mainstream, but the core theme of modern love and the emotional trials of families has been retained as it is", says the report.## The original Tamil movie starred Pradeep Ranganathan (also director) and Ivana in the leading roles alongside Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu, and Raadhika Sarathkumar.
