Mumbai, August 25 - The teaser of Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan-fronted action thriller Vikram Vedha has been released yesterday and it is getting a huge response from audiences on social media platforms. The movie is the remake of the Tamil film of the same name, written and directed by Pushkar-Gayatri who also helmed the Hindi version. ## Meanwhile, the teaser of this much-awaited film has become the most liked Bollywood movie teaser in the first 24 hours on YouTube. Trending at number 1 on the T-Series YT channel, the teaser got 932K+ likes during the first 24 hours, beating Ranbir Kapoor's "Shamshera" teaser record of 710K+. Interestingly, the "Vikram Vedha" teaser surpassed "Shamshera's" record in just 7 hours of its premiere. ## "Vikram Vedha" features Hrithik as gangster Vedha while Saif plays a cop named Vikram, stepping into the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan from the original Tamil movie, respectively. The 1-minute 44 seconds long promo briefly shows the confrontation between Vikram and Vedha, with Vedha especially bringing out his menacing avatar to own the teaser completely. ## The movie is produced by YNOT Studios, Friday Filmworks, T-Series Films, and Reliance Entertainment, and also stars Radhika Apte as the female lead along with Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. Mumbai, August 25 - Director R Balki has finalized the release date of Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan's Chup: Revenge of the Artist. The psychological thriller film that also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt as the female leads will be released worldwide on September 23, 2022. ## Billed as an homage to master filmmaker Guru Dutt and his 1959 classic "Kaagaz Ke Phool", - "Chup" is produced by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Anil Naidu, Dr. Jayantilal Gada (PEN Studios), and Gauri Shinde. The all-India distributing partner is Pen Marudhar. ## Meanwhile, the film also marks legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan's debut as a music composer. Mr. Bachchan is a frequent collaborator of R Balki and has created the end title track of the movie. "It marks the official debut of Amitabh Bachchan as a music composer. Amitji saw ‘Chup’ and played an instinctive original melody on his piano as he relived the film", the filmmaker said according to The Print. ## "It was his way of expressing his feelings for the film, paying a tribute. Scheduled to release on September 9 in multiple languages, Nagarjuna is playing the role of an artist who has the power of Nandi Astra. ## Nagarjuna is companying the team of "Brahmastra" to promote the film across the country, and in this process, he along with Ranbir Kapoor and SS Rajamouli, who presents the Telugu version, promote the film in Chennai today where they interacted with the media. ## During the Chennai press meet, Nagarjuna talked about the film's potential and also revealed more about his character. Mumbai, August 24 - The teaser of the much-awaited Bollywood biggie, Vikram Vedha, the official remake of the Tamil movie of the same name, was dropped on August 24, Wednesday. The Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan-starrer gets a big boost 1 month before the release, thanks to the action-packed teaser. ## Most of the Bollywood movies post-pandemic have failed to make a very good impression through their teaser/trailers but "Vikram Vedha" seems to have changed that as it is getting anonyms positive response from the audiences which has been the biggest critic of Bollywood movies over the last one year or so. ## Directed by Pushkar–Gayathri, the film features Hrithik as gangster Vedha while Saif plays a cop named Vikram. The teaser begins with Hrithik as Vedha says "Ek Kahani Sunaye, Sir?" to Saif's Vikram. Mumbai, August 23 - Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff was all set to begin the shooting of director Shashank Khaitan's romantic actioner Screw Dheela in September this year, however, the movie has now been delayed to 2023. ## According to reports, Karan Johar who is producing the film under his banner Dharma Productions wanted Tiger to allot multiple months for the film's shoot, but the actor has other films too which were announced before "Screw Dheela" and are scheduled to go on floors later this year and early next year. ## While Tiger could still have managed to find dates for Dharma's film, one movie that actually forced the studio to delay the shooting is Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has been in pre-production for a long time and is finally ready to go on floors by the end of this year or in January 2023. ## BMCM is a big-budget film that will be shot in multiple locations in India and abroad. The movie will be completed over the period of 6-7 months before getting it ready for Christmas 2023 release. Pooja Entertainment is producing this action comedy film. ## Meanwhile, "Screw Dheela" was reportedly shelved which is not true. It will now start shooting by mid-2023 or later in the same year. Some drama is much needed and I am ready to fight".## Meanwhile, irrespective of the boycott trend, "Liger" is carrying a very good buzz among moviegoers and is set to open big at the box office, especially in the Telugu version. However, there was no development since then until recently. ## According to Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand has started preparation for Prabhas' film and is giving the final touch to the script before it is ready to take on floors by mid-2023. Siddharth recently completed the shoot of Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan", which is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023. ## "Both Prabhas and Siddharth are presently busy with their ongoing projects. Mumbai, August 22 - Tiger Shroff's recently announced romantic actioner Screw Dheela with director Shashank Khaitan has been delayed shoot and will now start in 2023. It was reported the movie has been shelved as the budget was going over, however, producer Karan Johar has denied such reports. ## Karan Johar, in interaction with peepingmoon, confirmed that the movie is not shelved but delayed as there were date issues with Tiger Shroff. "The only reason Screw Dheela was not made is that there was a date constraint and he had an exit in January to start Bade Miyan Chote Miyan". ## "We definitely plan to pursue Screw Dheela next year and another big action film along with many other plans with Tiger. Mumbai, August 22 - Filmfare magazine has reacted to National Award-winning actress, Kangana Ranaut's remarks against it. The magazine said in a statement that Kangana's remarks, in which she threatened to sue Filmfare nominating her for this year's Filmfare awards against her objection, are malicious. ## It pains us at Filmfare, today, to be subjected to unwarranted malicious remarks by Ms. Kangana Ranaut", Filmfare said in a statement. "For over six decades, Filmfare Awards, and Filmfare, at large, has been a platform that celebrates and honours talent in the Film industry impartially and with utmost transparency. It is our strong ethic that has helped us in gaining the trust of our audiences and the film industry. ## Kangana alleged that Filmfare invited her to the award ceremony and wanted to give her the Best Actress award. Filmfare, however, said, "as is customary during the awards, Filmfare's Executive Editor informed Ms. Ranaut about her nomination in the Best Actor in a Leading Role, Female category and asked for her address to send across the invitation". ## The magazine also posted the message which it claimed to be the actual message it send to the actress and clarified that it wasn't about her giving the award or asking for any performance. The message read, "Hello Kangana, heartiest congratulations on your nomination for the Filmfare Awards. It’ll be a pleasure to have you there, do confirm your presence at the awards ceremony on August 30 at Jio World Convention Centre at BKC, Mumbai. It’ll help us plot your seats. P.S.
