The Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer, Laxmii is finally streaming on Disney+Hotstar. The Raghava Lawrence directorial is the remake of his own Tamil hit Kanchana. Produced by Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, and Tusshar Kapoor, Laxmi also features Ashwini Kalsekar, Sharad Kelkar, Manu Rishi, and Ayesha Raza.## Laxmii (earlier titled Laxmmi Bomb) ditched theatrical release due to the covid-19 pandemic. While most of the top filmmakers are competing to release their films on over-the-top (OTT) platforms, the makers of the upcoming satirical comedy-drama film, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari have decided to go for the theatrical release.## Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is scheduled to release theatrically on 15 November 2020, coinciding with Diwali. The Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer becomes the first Hindi film to come out post the reopening of cinemas.## Speaking about the theatrical release of the film, director Abhishek Sharma said that OTT platforms are the "death of cinema". ## "I've never been okay with a digital release, my thoughts on this are well known. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Friday raked up the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian to launch fresh attack at the alleged mafia culture of Bollywood, while making her case for the release of journalist Arnab Goswami.## Goswami was arrested on Wednesday (November 4) morning in a dramatic operation by the Mumbai and Raigad Police teams and was taken to Alibaug in connection with a double suicide case in the past. After a marathon hearing, Alibaug Court Chief Judicial Magistrate Sunaina S. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge - the longest-running Hindi film in the cinemas, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol recently completed 25 glorious years of its release. The film which marked the directorial debut for Aditya Chopra was released on 20 October 1995 and the love and passion for the movie have shattered all box office records and have engraved its name in the history of Hindi cinema as one of the biggest all-time blockbusters.## To celebrate the legacy of the film, DDLJ was re-released across the globe.
