Vikrant Massey As Antagonist In Ranveer Singh's 'Don 3'?

Mumbai, January 28 - Back in August 2023, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar announced the next chapter in the Don franchise. Ranveer Singh was confirmed to carry the baton forward as the next Don, replacing superstar Shah Rukh Khan who reportedly denied taking on the role due to some reasons. ## The casting of Ranveer Singh came as a surprise to many but the makers seemed confident about it. Now, according to the report by Filmfare, Farhan Akhtar has locked actor Vikrant Massey to play the antagonist role, which was unexpected. ## The report didn't reveal much about the casting except that Massey would be playing the role of a villain against Don who is himself an anti-hero. Interestingly, not long ago, Massey had announced on social media that he was taking a break from his acting career which was assumed as retirement by many.## There hasn't been any official word on the casting of Vikrant or any other aspect of the movie since its official announcement. Mumbai, January 28 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand created history with their maiden collaboration in spy action thriller Pathaan. The film went on to gross over 1000 crores worldwide and is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters ever. ## The duo is now set to reunite for King Khan's next blockbuster titled King. The movie was supposed to be directed by Kahaani fame Sujoy Ghosh but eventually decided to drop the plan to hand directorial duty to Anand and the development has officially been confirmed by SRK himself. ## Shah Rukh Khan recently attended an event in Abu Dhabi where he spoke about his upcoming movie, King. "I am just just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing", the Jawaan star said.## While the actor refused to reveal anything about the film, he assured the fans that it would be an entertaining film and they would enjoy it. Mumbai, January 27 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par is set to be delayed to the end of this year. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the comedy-drama is one of the highly-anticipated Bollywood movies of the year and a potential big comeback for the actor after the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha. ## Sitaare Zameen Par has been in production since early 2024 and was supposed to be released during Christmas 2024 weekend before makers postponed it to early 2025, but not anymore. Aamir Khan has confirmed that the movie would now be released on Christmas this year. ## The Dangal star attended the Republic Day celebrations at the Statue of Unity in Vadodara on Sunday where he shared the details about the project. It said that Sitaare Zameen Par is the sequel to his Taare Zameen Par and the makers are trying to release it by the end of this year, on the occasion of Christmas. ## The upcoming movie is based on the Spanish film Champions (2018) and stars Genelia Deshmukh as the female lead. It is produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Things have moved rapidly over the last couple of years regarding the script but still, all is not well for the movie. ## In a recent interaction with Movie Talkies, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan provided a much-awaited update on Krrish 4. When asked about the film, the filmmaker said that it will happen for sure as the script is finally ready, but the budget is a major concern. ## Rakesh Roshan revealed that the movie's scale is huge which requires a massive budget. The Karan Arjun director doesn't want to compromise with the scale of the movie as he said that if he cut the budget, it would massively the storyline, something he doesn't want to do. He said that he would start Krrish 4 only after he gets the required budget and scale right. ## There have been rumours that Krrish 4 will bring back the character of Jaado and when asked about the same, Rakesh Roshan refused to reveal anything about the plot as of now. Mumbai, January 24 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for mass entertainer Jaat which is the director's maiden Bollywood project. Telugu giant Mythri Movie Makers produces the film with People Media Factory. ## On Friday (January 24), the makers announced the release date of this much-awaited action drama. It has been confirmed that Jaat will hit the big screen on April 10 this year in Hindi and the dubbed versions of Telugu and Tamil. ## It is to be noted that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi's highly-awaited courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 3 is scheduled for an April 11 release and if things remain unchanged, it will be the second round of epic box office clash between Akshay and Sunny after 2023's Gadar 2 and OMG 2. ## The plot details of Jaat have been kept under wraps but it is said that Sunny will be up against 5 antagonists in the movie. Mumbai, January 16 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's war action thriller Sky Force is gearing up for release on January 24, during the Republic Day weekend. The movie is co-directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. ## With nearly a week to go for release, the film was censored on January 16. According to the reports, Sky Force has been censored with a U/A 13+ certificate and the approved theatrical runtime of 125 minutes (2 hours and 5 minutes) by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). ## The official plot summary of the movie reveals, "Sky Force unravels a gripping tale inspired by true events from one of the deadliest air strikes between India and Pakistan. The film aims to capture the raw emotions and heroism that have defined the franchise. ## Border 2 will be shot in the real location in and around the special armed forces to give a rustic feel to the film. Mumbai, January 15 - IMDb has unveiled the list of the top 20 most anticipated Indian movies of 2025, and the blockbuster list is topped by superstar Salman Khan's action drama Sikandar. The list includes 11 Bollywood titles, 3 Tamil and Telugu titles each, 2 Kannada movies and 1 Malayalam movie. ## Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is scheduled to hit the big screens on Eid. The actor is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War along with Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana, both scheduled to hit the big screens in 2026. ## Recently, it was reported that Ranbir has been locked in to lead Yash Raj Films' long-awaited Dhoom 4, which was officially announced more than a decade ago but the production never took off due to some reasons. But now, things are moving fast and production is set to begin next year. ## According to the India Today report, Dhoom 4 will start filming in April 2026. The makers are currently looking to cast 2 female leads and an antagonist. Key contenders to play the antagonist in the film are being considered from the South. ## Ranbir will wrap up both Love & War and Ramayana (both parts) before starting Dhoom 4 as it will need him to have a different look from his other movies. Box Office: Re-Release Run Helps 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' To Top 200 Crore Net Collection

Mumbai, January 10 - Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's 2013 blockbuster romantic-comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has had a superb first-week collection at the domestic box office upon its re-release on January 3rd.## Directed by Ayan Mukerji, YJHD opened with approximately 1.15 crores net collection and followed it with a good jump on Saturday and Sunday to score around 2.25 crores and 3 crores net collection, respectively for 6.40 crores net opening weekend.## The movie remained rock solid during the weekdays and minted approximately 6 crores net from Monday to Thursday for around 12.50 crores net, which is the second biggest first week for a Bollywood re-release after Tumbbad which scored 13.15 crores net last year. ## The superb first-week re-release collection of YJHD has helped it to enter the 200 crores club. In its original run, the film earned 188.60 crores net. With this, it has become the 43rd Hindi film to cross double century. It is the 4th film of Ranbir Kapoor and 5th for Deepika Padukone to achieve the feat. ## YJHD is showing a very good trend and is sure to do well during the Sankranthi weekend.
