Ex Bigg Boss contestants including Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, Price Narula, Vindu Dara Singh, Karanvir Bohra, and others mourn the demise of Bigg Boss talent manager Pista Dhakad who has died in a road accident yesterday. ## Pista, 24, who was an employee of the reality show's production company Endemol Shine India, had left the set of the ongoing season 14 on Friday after the wrap on an Activa scooter with one of the assistants and their vehicle was hit by a vanity van. Comedian Bharti Singh Arrested By Narcotics Control Bureau After Questioning

Popular comedian, Bharti Singh has been arrested after questioning by the Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai on Saturday. Bharti and her husband, Harsh Limbachiyaa, were taken to the NCB's Mumbai office for questioning after the anti-drug agency recovered a "small quantity of cannabis" during a search of their home this morning.## "She (Bharti Singh) and her husband have been detained for questioning about possession of narcotics substances", Sameer Wankhede, one of the investigating officials, told ANI earlier.## According to another NCB official, quoted by PTI, Ms. Singh's name emerged during questioning of a drug peddler, a search of her home recovered a "small quantity of cannabis". The agency also carried out searches at two other locations in Mumbai, the official added.## Earlier this month, NCB raided actor Arjun Rampal's home, and after searching, both he and his girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades, were summoned for questioning. While Demetriades was questioned over two days (for a total of 12 hours), Arjun Rampal was questioned for six hours last week. ## As Arjun Rampal was leaving the agency's office in south Mumbai, he clarified that he was fully cooperating with the investigation and the substances found by the NCB at his residence were part of a prescription as he has nothing to do with drugs. ## Stay tuned...

IPL 2020 Winning The TRP Game Over Bigg Boss 14 For Now

This year, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the most talked-about clash has not happened on the big screen. It is being installed on TV sets, between the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the reality TV show, Bigg Boss. ## As expected, the IPL 13 is clearly bossing the TRP ratings over the blockbuster controversial reality show being hosted by the superstar Salman Khan. ## According to a report by the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), the opening week of the cricket tournament this year saw 21 percent growth in average impressions per match as compared to 2019, despite one less match and fewer channels than last year (as stated by IANS).## The report stating out that a total of 269 million viewers watched IPL in its opening week, with 11 million more viewers per match compared to 2019, adding that 44 percent of TV households watched IPL-13 Live, with a peak in viewership for HD channels.## The 13th edition of IPL opened on September 19 with Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings in the first match held at United Arab Emirates (UAE). The opening match witnessed a viewership of 52 million impressions (29 percent higher than 2019) and was watched by 158 million viewers (21 percent higher than 2019), reported IANS.## On the other hand, after a hugely successful season 13, Bigg Boss returned with season 14 on October 3. With Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan returning as a host, the contestants roster included Eijaaz Khan, Nikki Tamboli, Pavitra Punia, Abhinav Shukla, Rubina Dilaik, Jasmin Bhasin, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Rahul Vaidya, Nishant Singh Malkani, Shezaad Deol, and Sara Gurpal. Star contestants of previous editions - Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan, and Gauahar Khan, joined as Toofani Seniors.## Reportedly, the show failed to make it to the top five in the opening week (October 3 to 9). In the Hindi Speaking Markets (Urban), the viewing minutes in billions for the launch week of season 14 was 3.1. As compared to previous seasons, this is better. The season 13 sum was 2.5, season 12 was 2.6, and season 11 was 2.## In the Hindi Speaking Market (Urban and rural), the launch week registered 3.9 billion viewing minutes. Season 13 and 12 had garnered 3.4, and season 11 was 2.5.## Though the TRP for Bigg Boss 14 isn't that bad, the show is expected to pick the pace once IPL ends on November 10. That, though, depends on how the show unfolds and whether the contestants manage to grab the attention of the viewers with fresh tricks, which they have been failed to do so far. ## Stay tuned...

The popular reality show, Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss is just around the corner with season 14. The most talked-about controversial show is all set to premiere on October 3 on Colors TV with a lot of new twists and turns to entertain the audience. ## However, it wasn't an easy task to prepare one of the most luxurious houses on time because of the covid-19 pandemic which forced the lockdown. The production designer Omung Kumar has opened up on how he revamped the set for the new season amid the pandemic which was challenging. ## "It was not easy for us to redesign the 'Bigg Boss' house at a time when everything was shut due to lockdown. There was a limited number of laborers available. Most of them had gone to their villages. The shops were closed. Online delivery was not functioning. We could not import anything from abroad", Omung recalled while interacting with IANS.## "Luckily, some shopkeepers agreed and specially opened their stores for us, as we had to purchase in bulk. Workers had to wear masks all the time. It was challenging, but we pulled it off. Ab hum keh sakte hai jab koi kaam nahi kar raha tha, hum kar rahe the (we can now claim that when no one was working, we were)", he added. ## It took Omung and team 45 to 50 days to redesign the house, which has a futuristic theme this season. This year, there is a mall, a spa, and a theater inside the house for which the contestants will have to do the task or something different to take advantage of it.## The veteran Bollywood production designer, who has also tried his hand at directing films, spoke that the "Bigg Boss" is like his own house and It irritates him a lot when the housemates (contestants) don't take proper care of it or damage property. ## Stay tuned...
