One of the leading actors of Star Plus's show Ishqbaaz, Shrenu Parikh was recently diagnosed with the Coronavirus and was admitted to a hospital in Vadodara. However, the actress has now almost recovered and back home and is quarantining as a precautionary measure. ## Now, the 30-year-old opens up about her experience of dealing with the COVID-19. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, she shared that despite barely stepping out from her home for five months and taking all the precautions she got infected with this virus. In her road to recovery, Shrenu further stated the value of life and how she put up a brave face in front of her parents but couldn't hold back her tears while speaking to her Ishqbaaz girls. ## While talking about how she knew she got infected, She said that initially, she had a bit of cough that she assumed was normal viral. After a few days, she had a fever that made her a little worried. However, despite all the symptoms, she was in denial mode that she had this virus until she lost her sense of smell.## When she got the news of her came positive, she informed her parents and asked them not to panic. She also informed everyone who had come in contact with her to get themselves tested. Luckily, all of them tested negative including her parents and she thanked God for that because she was feeling guilty and responsible.## The actress shared that she spent 7 days in the hospital before getting discharged and asked for a strict quarantine at home for next 7 days. While speaking about the hospital staff, she stated that they are no less than God. They were taking care of her properly and were so nice and not being negative. Saluting their commendable efforts, Shrenu Parikh couldn’t be more grateful for them.## While pointing out at the value of life, Shrenu said that a lot of people hide about being covid positive only because of sheer stigma or their neighbors' badmouth. Bigg Boss is one of the most-watched reality shows in India as well as outside. The reason for this unpreceded response is the format of the show and the host Salman Khan. However, it seems like the fans will have to wait a bit longer as the new season is likely to start a month later than usual.## According to the Mid-Day report, the online auditions have already been completed and the makers have selected a total of 30 contestants out of which 16 will enter the house in Bigg Boss 14. Out of 16, 13 will be celebrities, and the rest 3 supposed to be commoners.## However, owing to the nationwide lockdown which was imposed a month after Bigg Boss 13 grand finale and the COVID-19 threat is looming large, the new season is supposed to begin in the last week of October. The report also stated that all the contestants will enter the house after tested for the virus and the entire Bigg Boss house is properly sanitized.## The daily quoted a source close to the show saying, "While the show had started on October 1 last year, this time around, the shoot is likely to begin from the last week of October. The participants will be a mix of celebrities and commoners. The team has shortlisted 30 people, of which 16 will enter the Bigg Boss house. The 16 contestants, comprising 13 celebrities and three commoners, will be tested for COVID-19 before being sent inside the house. Recently, during a virtual video conference, Sunil Lahri aka Laxman said that while they were shooting, there was a scene where Lord Rama returns to Ayodhya, Lalita Pawar injured but still continued her shoot. ## "Lalita Pawar Ji once suffered an injury. During a sequence when Lord Ram returns to Ayodhya, the entire set was lit with diyas. Lalita Ji being an enthusiastic actor did not realize and she walked over them, by mistake she stepped on the lanterns and both her feet got burnt. The spot dadas would carry her till the set from the room and she used to give her shot".## "In fact, she was asked to relax and rest, but she was such an excited actor that she would love to work. Nobody got to know that she was in pain, she showed no signs when she was on camera. She was so committed that despite the injuries she continued to shoot and hats off to her. She was a great lady," said the actor. ## Lalita Pawar who died in 1998, had worked in several films in different languages including Hindi, Marathi, and Gujrati.
