Mumbai, September 8 - Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's mega-blockbuster Stree 2 continues to run riot at the box office even in its 4th week. The lack of strong competition is proving to be a one-horse race for this horror-comedy sequel.## After crossing 500 crores net in 3 weeks (22 days), Stree 2 carried the momentum to score the biggest 4th weekend in Hindi after minting 23.50+ crores net collection. The movie crossed the double-digit mark again on Sunday, which took its total collection to around 527 crores net in 25 days.## After the 4th weekend, Stree 2 has become the second-highest net-grossing film of all time in Hindi, beating Gadar 2 (525.70 crores) and Pathaan (524.50 crores). This is by far the biggest opening weekend for a Tamil title of 2024 and one of the biggest of all time. ## The Venkat Prabhu's directorial is showing a fantastic hold everywhere, especially in the home state, Tamil Nadu, and the overseas territories. The first Sunday domestic collection of The GOAT remained flat, but still huge by every means with an estimated 40 crores gross (34 crores net) in all versions.## The total domestic collection of The GOAT is around 161 crores gross (137 crores net), per estimates. In Tamil Nadu, the movie remained rock solid and has crossed 100 crores gross in just 4 days. Chennai, September 8 - Thalapthy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time had a sensational third at the worldwide box office. The movie, despite the mixed reviews, is being massively driven by the stardom of Vijay at the box office. ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT scored approximately 66 crores gross globally, including 39 crores in India on its third day/first Saturday. With this, the total worldwide collection of the movie is 221+ crores gross after three days which is the highest for a Tamil movie of 2024. ## The GOAT, however, became the biggest Tamil grosser of the year on its second day itself after beating Dhanush-fronted action thriller Raayan which grossed approximately 154 crores worldwide. Mumbai, September 7 - 2023 was the year completely dominated by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan with three big box office blockbusters. It all began with his comeback film, Pathaan before Jawan outdid it with its phenomenal performance, followed by the third success of the year in the form of Dunki. ## Pathaan redefined the stardom of Shah Rukh Khan by becoming his first 1000 crores gross grosser before director Atlee's Jawan took it to the next level and turned out to be one of the biggest Pan India blockbusters of all time. Jawan has turned a year old after getting unleashed at the box office on this day (September 7) last year.## The action thriller was one of the first major collaborations between a South Indian director and a Bollywood superstar in recent times, and this collaboration turned out to be one of the most talked about for redefining the mass genre in Indian cinema. It was mounted on a huge scale and featured many mass moments to turn the theatres into stadiums.## Jawan was a box office phenomenon from day 1 and it broke several records in India and overseas. Chennai, September 6 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has had a sensational opening at the worldwide box office with 100 crores gross collection, making it only the second Tamil movie of all time to do so, after Leo.## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT scored approximately 52 crores gross collection in India and 48 crores overseas for 100 crores gross start. This is the second biggest opening for a Tamil title at the worldwide box office after Thalapathy Vijay's Leo which grossed approx. 142 crores. ## The GOAT is the 12th Indian movie to take the opening of 100 crores or more globally, and it is the 9th South Indian film to do so. Chennai, September 5 - One of the biggest films of the year, Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time was released on the big screens on September 5 amid huge anticipation. The movie received mixed to positive reception from the audience, but it didn't stop the movie from taking a huge opening at the box office. ## Thalapathy Vijay has proved in the past that his movies are critic-proof and have scored a big collection at the box office. The GOAT, as far as the opening is concerned, is proving critics' reviews as a secondary thing once again. ## According to the early estimates, The GOAT is expected to score 28-30 crores in gross collection in the home state, Tamil Nadu.
