Director Lokesh Kanagaraj Confirms His Next Five Films After Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo'
Chennai, October 8 - Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most sought-after actors in Tamil cinema who has made his mark by delivering critically and commercially acclaimed blockbusters. Lokesh previously announced that he will direct only 10 films in his career, of which, 5 films have already been done, and now, he is gearing up for the next films.## After his first three films, Lokesh started his cinematic universe (LCU) with Karthi's "Kaithi", followed by "Vikram". The filmmaker is now gearing up for the third film in the LCU, Thalapathy Vijay-fronted "Leo" which is slated to hit screens on October 19 worldwide. ## During a recent interview, Lokesh revealed the next set of his directorial which will mostly focus on LCU. As announced earlier, the "Master" director will next direct superstar Rajinikanth which will be a standalone movie. It will commence filming next year. ## After Rajini's film, Lokesh will start the much-awaited sequel to "Kaithi" with Karthi. It will most probably will begin by the end of 2024 or early 2025. "Kaithi 2" will be followed by Kamal Haasan's "Vikram 2", and then, a spin-off of Suriya's Rolex character from "Vikram" will be his next directorial.## Apart from the aforementioned films, there have been rumours about Lokesh collaborating with superstar Prabhas and the director has confirmed the same in the recent interview. Prabhas' film with Loki is said to be the 'End Game' of LCU, and will easily be the biggest film of him yet. There is no shooting timeline has been set yet for the movie.## Lokesh also wishes to make more spin-off films from the LCU and he wants other talented directors to direct them as he alone can't direct them all. ## Stay tuned...
