Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Bhagavanth Kesari' Release Date Re-Confirmed With A New BTS Video

Hyderabad, September 28 - Veteran Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna's action drama film Bhagavanth Kesari has been re-confirmed to release in theatres worldwide on October 19, 2023. The movie is written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Shine Screens. ## The fans were worried about the movie's release date as there has been no update from the makers for quite some now. The rumours started making noise that "Bhagavanth Kesari" might get postponed as the shoot was still not completed but now, the makers have put all the rumours to rest with a new behind the scene video.## On Thursday, the makers shared a BTS video on Twitter/X with the announcement that the shoot has been wrapped up and the movie is getting ready to release in cinemas across the globe on October 19, confirming the clash with Thalapathy Vijay's "Leo" and Ravi Teja's "Tiger Nageswara Rao".## The BTS video footage shows the shooting journey of the film that kickstarted on December 8, 2022. The movie has Sreeleel and Kajal Aggarwal as the female leads with Arjun Rampal playing the lead antagonist. Mumbai, September 28 - Sunny Deol-fronted period action drama film Gadar 2: The Katha Continues has crossed the lifetime net collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and becomes the highest net-grossing film ever in the Hindi language, according to producer Zee Studios. ## Directed by Anil Sharma, the mega-blockbuster sequel to 2001's "Gadar: Ek Prem Kathaan" has scored 524.75 crores net collection so far in 48 days, crossing "Pathaan" which scored 524.53 crores net in Hindi earlier this year. The SRK-fronted movie had overall scored 543 crores net which includes approximately 17.50 crores net of Tamil and Telugu versions.## "Gadar 2", however, won't remain the highest-grossing Hindi movie for more than two days as Shah Rukh Khan's latest blockbuster "Jawan" is likely to top both the movies either today or tomorrow to claim the number 1 spot in Hindi. It is already the highest net-grossing Bollywood movie of all time 576 crores net in all versions so far.## Produced by Anil Sharma with Zee Studios, G2 has emerged as one of the biggest all-time blockbusters with a worldwide collection of 685 crores, including 65.50 crores overseas collection against a budget of just around 70 crores. It has shattered many box office records including becoming the highest-grossing film of the entire primary cast as well as for director Anil Sharma. It is also the second fastest movie ever to top 500 crores net in Hindi (24 days).## The movie stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma, who reprise their roles from the previous film. Simrat Kaur made her Bollywood debut with this movie alongside Manish Wadhwa and Gaurav Chopra as the new addition to the cast. Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' Advance Booking Status In The USA and The UK

Los Angeles, September 28 - Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagraj's second collaboration, Leo is off to an excellent start in the advance booking in the USA and the UK along with other overseas territories.## The film has its premiere on October 18 in the USA and for the same, the advance booking has already crossed $100K. It has so far sold approximately 5800 tickets worth $130K (1.10 crores) gross collection. The pre-sales is expected to see a further jump as more and more shows are being added. ## The United Kingdom was the first to open the advance booking of "Leo" and it has been trending really well since then. Ahimsa Entertainment, which is the UK distributor of the movie, shared that the film has so far sold 30K+ tickets for all days. The opening day advance ticket sold count is around 21K and it is likely to emerge as the biggest Indian opener in the UK.## "Leo" is currently the second-biggest opening-day grosser Tamil movie, behind "Ponniyin Selvan Part - 1" in the UK and it will be the biggest in the next few days in the advance sales only. The Tamil version is leading pre-sales of the movie, followed by the Telugu and Hindi versions.## The movie is a gangster action drama, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio. It stars Thalapathy Vijay in the title role alongside Sanjay Dutt and Trisha in the main roles while the supporting cast includes Gautam Vasudev Menon, Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand. Hyderabad, September 27 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni's maiden pan India film Skanda with mass director Boyapati Sreenu is getting ready to release this Thursday, September 28. The actor-director duo is collaborating for the first time and this mass combo is generating a very good buzz among the audiences.## The worldwide pre-release theatrical business of "Skanda" has been locked at approximately 46 crores which is all-time record for Ram Pothineni, according to T2BLive. The previous biggest theatrical business for the actor was 38 crores for "The Warrior", though it failed to emerge as a box office hit.## The Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) theatrical business "Skanda" has been locked at approximately 41 crores, including 13 crores for the Nizam area, 8.50 crores for the Ceeded area and approximately 19.50 crores for the Andhra region. The rest of India business is locked at 3 crores while overseas rights get sold for approximately 2.20 crores.## "Skanda" will need to score 47 crore share collection worldwide to break even, which means the movie will need to earn 75+ crores gross collection to emerge as a clean box office hit. Given the positive word-of-mouth, this shouldn't be a tough ask for the movie to emerge as a hit as both Boyapati Sreenu and Ram Pothineni hold command over the masses. ## The film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under Srinivasaa Silver Screen in collaboration with Zee Studios. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the mystery thriller movie emerged as the most-watched non-English film title worldwide during the week of September 18-24 on Netflix.## "Jaane Jaan" had the biggest opening weekend viewership for an Indian movie on Netflix with 18.8 million viewing hours from 8.1 million views in the first three days. It was also the second most Netflix movie (English and Non-English) during the same week, behind "Love at First Sight" (23 million viewing hours).## Produced under the banner 12th Street Entertainment and Northern Lights Films in association with Kross Pictures and Balaji Motion Pictures, "Jaane Jaan" is an adaptation of the 2005 Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino. It stars Kareena Kapoor as a single mother involved in a murder, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.## The second most-watched Indian movie worldwide during the week of September 18-24 was megastar Chiranjeevi's "Bholaa Shankar". Meanwhile, according to Pinkvilla, the movie will be hitting cinemas a day early in the international markets according to a well-planned statrgy by the makers.## It is said that the makers are proceeding with the full-fledged release on December 21 in the entire international markets to get the benefit of the extended Christmas holiday period. The idea is to maximize word of mouth and get the audience excited for the conventional weekend from Friday to Sunday. Mumbai, September 26 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's spy action thriller Pathaan, which is currently the highest net-grossing movie ever in Hindi, will soon be topped by the next two biggest grossers, Gadar 2: The Katha Continues and Jawan. But the question remains which movie to topple "Pathaan" first to become the biggest Hindi grosser of all time? ## Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan", which has so far scored approximately 520+ crores net in 21 days, will eventually become the biggest Hindi grosser by a very good margin, but at the moment, it is in a close race with "Gadar 2", which has scored approximately 524.30 crores net in 48 days, to outgross "Pathaan" first.## The Sunny Deol-fronted period action drama film has slowed down since the release of "Jawan" but it is still carrying enough fuel to come out on top. However, it won't be a long laugh for the movie as the SRK-starrer will cross it eventually, but it might still enjoy the moment of being the biggest Hindi net-grosser for at least one day. ## Interestingly, the Hindi cinema could have a moment to remember as both "Gadar 2" and "Jawan" are showing a trend of topping "Pathaan" (524.50+ crores) on the same day. The movie, which is touted to be an action-thriller, has been titled Jigra. The motion poster begins with a quote by GK Chesterton flashing on the screen, which reads, "The paradox of courage is that one must be a little careless of life in order to keep it".## The motion poster shows Alia Bhatt with a bag on her shoulder as she is standing in the streets. A voice-over by Alia is played in the background with the actress ensuring to protect what seems to be her younger sibling. Mumbai, September 26 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan becomes the first Indian actor to have two films in the 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office as his latest mega-blockbuster Jawan achieved this milestone in the record time for a Bollywood title.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" has broken many records in its run so far, and one of the biggest of them is being the highest-grossing Indian movie of all time in the GCC Countries. It has outgrossed SRK's own movie "Pathaan", which was released earlier this year, to become the number 1 Indian title in the Gulf.## "Jawan" has scored $14.15+ million so far in 19 days, crossing "Pathaan's" $14.10 million lifetime collection. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" is the third Highest-grossing Indian movie in the Gulf with $10.30 million, followed by Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and Aamir Khan's "Dangal" at number 4 and 5 with $9.45 million and $8.80 million, respectively.## Meanwhile, "Jawan" is nearing crossing "RRR" to become the highest-grossing Indian film at the North American box office. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" was the first and only non-Bollywood movie to top 500 crores net in the Hindi language.## Meanwhile, in another box office milestone, "Jawan" has topped 1000 crores gross worldwide on its 18th day, becoming the fastest Bollywood movie ever to do the same.
