This makes it the joint lowest-budgeted Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie of all time, tied with 2015's "Ant-Man". "The Marvels" also cost $60 million less compared to its predecessor which budgeted at $190 million. ## The upcoming superstar movie is the first movie in the MCU's Phase 5 to cost less than $200 million. With this, the action thriller has become the 3rd Bollywood movie, after "Pathaan", and "Gadar 2" to reach this milestone.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" scored 14.40 crores net on its 13th day/second Tuesday, which took the total net collection to 508.28 crores. It will cross "Gadar 2" by Thursday and during the 3rd weekend, it will beat "Pathaan" to become the biggest net collection-scoring movie of all-time in all versions.## The Hindi version of "Jawan" has reached 457.59 crores, and during the 3rd weekend, it will top 500 crores net and will become the 4th movie ever to hit this mark in Hindi or a single language in India. The lifetime Hindi collection of the film is likely to be around 550 crores net (all-time record), and around 620 crores in all versions.## Meanwhile, apart from the domestic box office milestone, "Jawan" has crossed 900 crores gross mark today and becomes the 5th Bollywood and 8th Indian movie to do so. The movie, directed by Atlee Kumar, is breaking records one after another, and now, it has unlocked a new box office mark for a Bollywood movie.## "Jawan" has become the first outright Bollywood movie ever to cross a combined 150 crores gross mark in the South Indian states (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala). The overall domestic box office collection of the movie has also crossed 600 crores mark as I type this.## The action thriller film is truly having a sensational box office run in South India, led by two Telugu states (AP/TG) where the movie has crossed 50 crores gross mark with today's collection. Tamil Nadu is the best market for Jawan, followed by Karnataka, and Kerala, among the South Indian states.## The mega-stardom of Shah Rukh Khan and the goodwill of Tamil director Atlee Kumar is working wonders outside North India. Los Angeles, September 19 - Disney and Pixar's computer-animated romantic comedy-drama film Elemental, which witnessed a box office rebound earlier this year, has made an impressive post-theatrical streaming debut on Disney Plus.## According to Variety, the movie, directed by Peter Sohn, took a strong start on Disney+ with 26.4 million views in its first five days. This makes "Elemental" the most-watched movie premiere of the year on the streamer and among the top 10 movie premieres Disney has ever had. ## Disney defines a view as total stream time divided by runtime, which means "Elemental" scored approximately 2.87 billion viewing minutes in its first five days of availability on Disney+. It has also become the most-viewed animated movie premiere since Disney and Pixar's "Turning Red" was released in March 2022.## Earlier, "Elemental" witnessed a box office rebound after the low opening at the domestic (North America) as well as the worldwide box office. Mumbai, September 18 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has unlocked a new box office territory as he becomes the first Bollywood and the second Indian actor to score a 1000 crore net collection at the Indian box office in a single year. ## Shah Rukh Khan has two releases in 2023 so far in the form of "Pathaan" and "Jawan", and both movies are currently the top two highest-grossing Indian films of 2023, respectively. Apart from being the biggest grossers of the year, "Pathaan" and "Jawan" have put SRK in a league of his own.## Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan" was released in January this year and went on to score 543 crores net collection, including 524+ crores in the Hindi language. It is currently the highest-grossing movie in Hindi as well as in a single language in terms of net collection.## "Jawan", which is currently playing in theatres, is directed by Tamil director Atlee Kumar and just like "Pathaan", the action thriller is running riot at the box office. It has scored approximately 478 crores net collection, including 430+ crores in the Hindi language in just 11 days so far. ## The combined net collection of "Pathaan" and "Jawan" is 1020+ crores and with the 12th-day collection of "Jawan", it is nearing 1035 crores which makes Shah Rukh Khan, the highest net collection scoring Indian actor in a single year. Superstar Prabhas was the first Indian actor to cross the milestone of 1000 crores net collection in a single year when his "Baahubali 2", directed by SS Rajamouli, scored 1030 crores net in all versions in 2017.## "Jawan", meanwhile, is on course to become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie at the domestic box office. The action thriller movie remained the number 1 title at the domestic box office by a huge margin while the overseas collection is also fantastic.## The Atlee Kumar's directorial movie scored over 100 crores gross domestically in the second weekend, including an estimated 43 crores gross (36 crores net) on the second Sunday. The excellent second weekend takes the total domestic cume of the movie to around 573 crores gross (477 crores net) in 11 days in all versions.## At the overseas box office, "Jawan" is estimated to score $7.50 million (62 crores), for approximately 165 crores global second weekend. The movie grossed $903 million (7505 crores) through Friday and is estimated to reach $912 million (7580 crores) 9th Sunday, according to Deadline. ## "Oppenheimer", with $912 million by Sunday, will officially become the highest-grossing biopic of all time at the worldwide box office. Based on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American theoretical physicist credited with being the "father of the atomic bomb", it will cross "Bohemian Rhapsody" (2018) which focuses on the life of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the British rock band Queen.## "Bohemian Rhapsody" grossed $910.8 million, including $216.6 million domestically (North America) and $694.2 million at the overseas box office, as per Box Office Mojo. "Oppenheimer" is expected to gross $10 million from 83 overseas markets on its 9th weekend, which will take its total international cume to $593 million while its domestic total will reach $319 million.## "Oppenheimer" is the third highest-grossing film ever and the highest-grossing outside Batman movies for Christopher Nolan. It is already the third biggest movie of the year worldwide and internationally (behind only Barbie and The Super Mario Bros Movie).## The film's Top Five international markets are as follows - the UK ($72.6M), China ($50M), Germany ($47.5M), France ($41.3M) and Australia ($26.2M).
