Never before a Bollywood movie has taken a 60 crores opening, and here, Jawan has comfortably crossed this mark by some margin.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, Jawan gets the full use of the Janmashtami holiday as collections actually exceeded already sky high expectations as early estimates suggest 65 crores net in the original Hindi version and it might go higher which remains to see.## The opening of Jawan is actually at least 10 crores net higher than the previous best Pathaan, which scored 55 crores net in Hindi. The movie has been running bumper occupancies all over the country and the collection in the South Indian states are fantastic. ## Apart from Hindi language, Jawan has scored an estimated 10 crores net in the other two versions, Tamil and Telugu which is again an all-time record opening for an outright Bollywood movie. While the movie was already tracking record-breaking start in North India, the kind of opening it has taken in the South India is an eye opener for the Bollywood industry.## Jawan has broken all the records for an outright Hindi movie in the entire South Indian states. Directed by Atlee Kumar, the movie is having an excellent response in the pre-sales, not just in India but in international markets as well.## The movie, slated to release on September 7, is nearing 40 crores gross advance collection globally. In India, it has crossed 25 crores gross with approximately 910K tickets sold, as of 8 PM on September 5 for the opening day. The original Hindi-language is leading the pre-sales with approximately 23.75 crores gross with 815K tickets while Tamil version has generated 88 lakh with 57.4K tickets and Telugu version has grossed 46 lakh with 35.2K tickets so far.## In three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis), "Jawan" has sold 340K tickets as of 6:15 PM on September 5. PVR and INOX have sold 280K tickets while Cinepolis has sold 60K tickets. At the time of writing this, the movie has crossed "Thugs of Hindostan's" 346K national chains tickets sold for the opening day. "Jawan" is likely to beat "Pathaan" (556K tickets) to score the highest-ever pre-sales for the opening day for a Bollywood movie.## Meanwhile, the advance booking response in the international markets for the movie is also sensational as it has so far sold tickets worth $1.56 million (13 crores), according to Pinkvilla. Mumbai, September 5 - National award winning actor Dhanush is reuniting with director Anand L Rai for a love story film, titled Tere Ishk Mein. The movie was in June this year with the first look teaser on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of "Raanjhanaa".## Now, according to Tamil industry tracker Amutha Bharathi, the makers are in talks with one of the leading Bollywood actresses, Kiara Advani to play the female lead role. The talks are said to be in the final stage and the actress is more or less confirmed for the role. ## "Tere Ishk Mein" is a love story reportedly set in the backdrop of air force. It will mark Dhanush and Kiara's maiden collaboration if happens. As reported recently, the shoot of the movie is expected to commence in November this year in Utter Pradesh and it will be shot in a straight three-month schedule. ## The movie is helmed by Aanand L Rai and its story, dialogues, and screenplay are penned by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. Himanshu has produced the movie while AR Rahman is on board to score music and Irshad Kamil for lyrics.
