Hollywood Blockbuster 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' Sets Release Date In India

Mumbai, September 1 - One of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters of the year, Everything Everywhere All at Once, starring Michelle Yeoh is finally coming to the Indian theaters. The absurdist comedy-drama is the highest-grossing film for A24 studio with over $100 million worldwide against the budget of $25 million. ## Ever since the film was released in March of this year, the fans in India have been enquiring about its release in the country. And now, the Mumbai-based Impact Films is bringing this film to the Indian audiences and has set September 16, 2022, release date. ## Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, "Everything Everywhere All at Once" received some high praise from critics and it is one of the serious contenders for the next year's Academy Awards. ## "The film has been passed by CBFC without any cuts thereby ending the reservations and curiosity of several audiences who were worried as to what might get chopped off. It's now the same version that's being watched worldwide", said Ashwani Sharma, CEO, Impact Films. ## "We were very clear right from the beginning that we are going to release this film on big screens rather than going straight to digital platforms as this film is a rare cinematic experience that needs to be enjoyed only in theaters. Hyderabad, August 31 - Actor Nikhil Siddhartha's mystery action-adventure film Karthikeya 2 has entered the coveted 100 crores gross club at the worldwide box office with today's collection, becomes only the 4th Telugu movie of 2022 to achieve the milestone after Bheemla Nayan, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, and RRR. ## Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, "Karthikeya 2" has had trouble getting released in theaters but it overcame all the challenges to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Telugu cinema. For a medium-range Telugu movie, "Karthikeya 2" is only the second film of all time in Tollywood cinema to reach the 100 crores mark after Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's "Geetha Govindam". ## However, unlike "Geetha Govindam", K2 has had simultaneous Hindi release with the Telugu version and it has hugely benefitted from the Hindi version with a gross collection of approx. 30 crores, in addition to approx. 58 crores in the Telugu version at the domestic box office. Chennai, August 30 - Tamil star Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam has performed exceptionally well at the box office, as a result, it has raced past the 100 crores mark worldwide. Directed by Mithran R Jawahar, the romantic comedy-drama film has become the first for Dhanush to achieve this box office milestone. ## "Thiruchitrambalam" scored a fantastic 50.45 crores in the opening week and continues to mint money in the second week as well, taking a total net collection to 65.47 crores after 12 days. The movie has been excellent in the international markets too, grossing approx. 23 crores, for worldwide cum total to approx. 101 crores. ## The film has overtaken Dhanush's Bollywood debut film "Raanjhanaa", which was previously the highest-grossing film of his career with approx. 94 crores worldwide. "Thiruchitrambalam" is also reportedly the highest-grossing film for the actor in Tamil Nadu with 68.38 crores gross. ## Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, "Thiruchitrambalam" opened to very positive reviews while the audience's word of mouth is also super strong. The shoot of the film was wrapped up a long time back in October 2021, but the makers paused the post-production due to the covid-19. It began in February this year and the movie was finally released on August 18. ## The film stars Dhanush in the titular role and Nithya Menen with Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja, and Prakash Raj in the supporting roles. ## Stay tuned...
