Nagarjuna Team Up With Director Praveen Sattaru For A New Telugu Movie

Hyderabad, August 27, 2021: Superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna has teamed up with director Praveen Sattaru for the first time. Sattaru, who made his debut in 2011 with Life Before Wedding: LBW, will be directing Nagarjuna for the first time in the movie, titled "The Ghost", which also stars Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. ## The movie, which has commenced filming in Hyderabad, is being produced by Narayan Das K Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar. The makers of the film released the pre-look poster of Nagarjuna in which, he can be seen holding a sword full of blood on a rainy dark night. Wonder Woman Director Patty Jenkins Urged Hollywood Studios To Commit To Theatrical Experience

Los Vegas, August 27, 2021: Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has once again asserted her desire to experience the movie on the big screen. The filmmaker was speaking at theater owners' confab CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Thursday (August 26) where he urged Hollywood Studios to commit to the big-screen experience. ## "I don't know why we are talking about taking [exclusive theatrical windows] away", Jenkins said (via THR). "One studio should plant a flag and make a huge commitment to the theatrical experience and the filmmakers will go there".## Jenkins also talked about the Warner Bros. decision to release Wonder Woman 1984 simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max last year, admitting that at the time it was "the best choice of a bunch of very bad choices. It was a very, very difficult choice. It was such a dark time". Upon the release, WW84 underperformed and grossed only $166 million worldwide amid the covid-19 pandemic. ## Patty had previously said that the day-and-date release of the movies won't work a longer period of time as movie lovers wouldn't want to invest their money on more streaming platforms that are growing day by day. The Punjabi Film 'Chal Mera Putt 2' Cast Five Pakistani Actors 2 Years After Ban

Chandigarh, August 26, 2021: Punjabi movie "Chal Mera Putt 2" is gearing up for the theatrical release on August 27. Even before the release, the movie is in news for the casting of Pakistani actors. As known to everyone, the All Indian Cine Workers Association announced a total ban on Pakistani artists from working in India after the deadly terror attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir in February 2019 that claimed the lives of 40 jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). ## Obliging the ban, the Indian film fraternity has also shown solidarity by not working with Pakistani actors and singers in Indian films for two years now. However, things seem to have changed now as Chal Mera Putt 2 will see five Pakistani actors including Zafri Khan, Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti, Rubi Anam, and Akram Udas) as part of the cast. ## Since the Pakistani actors are not allowed in India for shooting, the makers of the film went to the UK and shot the film. Justifying the casting, producer Munish Sahani said that Pakistani actors were cast to give the movie an international reach as Punjabi actors don't have a wide reach outside India. ## "There is no particular reason to cast Pakistani actors. We have shot the film in the United Kingdom and the project required them. If I want to give international exposure to the film, I have to consider territories where the reach of Indian actors is limited". ## He further stated, "Punjabi films don't have the reach which Hindi films have. All Punjabi films don't work when they are released abroad. We just wanted to creatively justify the film and that's the reason we took Pakistani actors". ## Directed by Janjot Singh, the movie is a direct sequel to the 2019 film Chal Mera Putt. The movie stars Amrinder Gill, Simi Chahal, and Garry Sandhu in lead roles. The trailer received an unpreceded response from fans around the world which helped it to broke the 24-hour all-time record for most global views, Sony Pictures announced today. ## The trailer racked up 355.5 million views, far outpacing previous record-holder Avengers: Endgame, which boasted 289 million views for its inaugural trailer over its first 24 hours. Worldwide views for the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer more than doubled those of the second trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, which boasted 135 million views worldwide in its first 24 hours.## Not only views but the No Way Home teaser trailer also becomes the most talked-about teaser trailer on social media ever with 4.5 million mentions in the first 24-hours. Out of those mentions, 2.91 million were generated domestically (North America), far ahead of Avengers: Endgame's 1.94 million mentions. ## Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, in fact, surpassed Endgame's 24-hour domestic total in just 12 hours, during which time the Spider-Man sequel racked up 1.96 million mentions. Hyderabad, August 25, 2021: Superstar Nagarjuna-led Bangaraju has started filming today in Hyderabad. The actor team up with his son Naga Chaitanya in this prequel to the 2016 supernatural drama film, Soggade Chinni Nayana. The father-son duo teaming up together for the second time after the fantasy-drama film, Manam (2014). ## Bangaraju also stars Ramya Krishna and Uppena fame Krithi Shetty in the female lead. Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna have appeared together in several films and they were captivated with their beautiful chemistry in Soggade Chinni Nayana. Krithi, on the other hand, will be sharing screen space with all three other leads in the movie. ## The movie was launched last week with the Pooja ceremony in Hyderabad while the regular shoot has commenced today. While the actress received global appreciation for her act, she also came under serious criticism for portraying a Tamil rebellion called Razi in the Amazon Prime Video series. ## The Tamil Nadu government had urged the Centre to ban the show after the trailer was released. Tamil Nadu's IT Minister T Mano Thangaraj had written a letter that said that the series "not only hurt the sentiments of Eelam Tamils but also the feelings of the people of Tamil Nadu". The actress faced accusations for negatively portraying the Tamil Eelam.## However, after the show was released, many people changed their mind and appreciate Samantha for playing that role. But she is continuing to receive criticism from a certain group of people which led the actress to apologizes to them for unintentionally hurting their sentiments. ## Without addressing the topic herself but responding to the criticism, the Majili actress said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, "I allow people to have their own opinions. If they decided to stay with that opinion, I am very sorry for hurting anyone's sentiments. I sincerely apologize as it was not something I intended on doing at all". ## "I did not mean to hurt anyone. So, if I did, I am extremely sorry. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor in the title role with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt portraying the antagonist. ## Directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera was ready for release in theaters in 2020 but due to the covid-19 pandemic, it got postponed. Later, it was announced the 25 June 2021 release, but again, the second wave of the pandemic spoilt all the plans.
