'Doctor' Will Get The Right Release, Says The Producer

Chennai, May 12, 2021: Sivakarthikeyan's comedy action thriller film, Doctor, is one of the most-awaited Tamil films of the year. The movie was all set to release on March 26, however, the makers decided to postpone the release due to the elections and the second covid-19 wave which started showing its effect till the time they made the announcement. ## However, with no sign of release, fans have been asking makers to give an update about the movie as they have been waiting desperately for this Tamil biggie. Besides this, a section of media has also reported that KJR Studios has unfollowed Sivakarthikeyan, director Nelson, and music composer Anirudh on Twitter, and there is some issue within the team. ## Now, producer Rajesh of KJR Studios has issued a statement regarding the release of the film and said that the movie will get the right release but in the current circumstances, he does not want to talk about something celebratory like the release of Doctor. ## "You have been asking us for updates about #Doctor every day. Salman Khan Apologizes To Cinema Owners; Wishes To Release Radhe In Theaters When Lockdown Ends

Mumbai, May 11, 2021: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has apologized to theater owners who were hoping actor's upcoming film, "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" to release in theaters and help them recover their losses due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## Directed by Prabhudheva, the movie will start streaming on multiple platforms, including OTT and DTH services, on May 13 at the festival of Eid. It will also release in theaters whenever they are open in India, though most of the states have shut the cinemas due to the second covid-19 wave. ## "I apologize to cinema owners who were hoping to earn profits with the release of this film. We waited as long as we could, hoping that this pandemic would end and we would be able to release in theatres all over the country. But that did not happen. We don't know when things will go back to normal", Salman Khan told reporters in a roundtable interview from Mumbai. ## "I couldn't have kept my Eid commitment with fans without the support of ZEE. It was important to release the film at a time like this because people are suffering due to the pandemic. Incomes have reduced for many, so now, instead of spending a lot of money on tickets at the cinemas, people can watch it at a much cheaper rate at home. I want to provide some entertainment to people at a grim time like this", Salman said. ## However, the actor again expressed his desire to release the film in theaters when things subside and it is 'safe' for people to visit cinema halls. ## "I know people are disappointed that they will not be able to watch Radhe on the big screen. Some people have booked auditoriums and are planning to screen my film, which I won't encourage because I don't want people to say 'Salman Khan ki picture dekhne gaye aur corona phail gaya'. Once everything is safe, we will release the film again in the theatres. We hope the film does well then too", the actor said.## Radhe is said to have a remake of the 2017 Korean film The Outlaws. Mumbai, May 10, 2021: The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has hinted that the Indian team will travel to Sri Lanka for the limited-overs series in the month of July. However, the exact window for this series is yet to be known, but Ganguly said it would consist of three ODIs and three T20Is. ## According to the ICC's Future Tours Programme (FTP), India are scheduled to play three T20Is in Sri Lanka in July. India were also due to play three T20Is and three ODIs in Sri Lanka last June, but that tour was canceled due to the pandemic.## If the Sri Lanka tour happens and the FTP were to be followed, India likely to play with a completely different squad excluding several regular players. During the time of the Sri Lanka tour, the first choice Team India will be in England to play the WTC Final against New Zealand and 5-matches Tests series against England starting on August 4. ## Meanwhile, Ganguly denied the possibility of the remainder of IPL 2021 being played in England on either side of India's Test series there, when asked in an interview with Sportstar. "No", Ganguly said. "India is supposed to go to Sri Lanka for three ODIs and five T20Is. There are lots of organizational hazards like 14-day quarantine.## "It [the IPL] can't happen in India [either]. This quarantine is tough to handle.
