Los Angeles, May 8, 2021: Ever since Marvel Studios has revealed the title of Black Panther 2, which is now, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", fans are overjoyed and couldn't hold their excitement to watch this movie. "Wakanda Forever" is something that echoes in the minds of every Black Panther fan as it reminds them of the late Chadwick Boseman - the original Black Panther. ## Well, after the much-talked-about title announcement, all eyes are on Michael B. Jordan, who played N'Jadaka/Erik "Killmonger" Stevens in the first Black Panther movie. Jorden didn't know the title of the sequel until the host of the Just For Variety podcast informed him just minutes before it was announced by Marvel.## "Nice. Awesome", Jordan reacted to the title. "I like that. … Marvel does great, amazing work and the characters are awesome. We all took a hit with the loss of Chadwick, so for them trying to figure out how to move forward, I know it's not an easy thing to do. So the fact that they settled on a title and figuring out this story, I think is truly incredible. If anybody could figure it out, it's Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige". ## Jordan also hadn't seen Monday's Marvel trailer that features footage of him and Boseman together while Stan Lee is heard saying in voiceover, "That man next to you, he's your brother". Panorama Studios International To Not Begin Drishyam 2 Hindi Remake Till Copyright Suit Is Pending

Mumbai, May 8, 2021: Mohanlal starrer Malayalam movie, Drishyam 2 emerged as a digital blockbuster with its engrossing script and intense acting from the leading actors. After the huge success and demand, the Telugu remake was announced immediately of which, the shoot has already been completed. ## Apart from Telugu, the Hindi remake of Drishyam 2 was also announced recently with Panorama Studios International acquiring the Hindi remake rights of the film. However, soon after it was announced in Hindi, the production house lent into legal trouble after Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd alleged copyright issue. ## Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd had last week approached Bombay High Court seeking an order restraining Panorama Studios International from producing any sequel to the movie in Hindi. The company, in its suit, alleged infringement of their copyright and sought recognition and adjudication of copyright and other rights in the production of the sequel in the Drishyam franchise.## "The statement is that the defendants (Panorama) will not themselves or through any other person with whom they may have a contract or arrangement, begin shooting of the film in question i.e. a sequel to the film Drishyam", the Court said in its order.## The production house also accepts that if they take up any preparatory work, such as developing a treatment, script, screenplay, or dialogue, this will be at their own risk and that they will not be entitled to claim any equities on that basis in the future, the HC further noted.## After this order, Panorama Studios International assures High Court that it would not begin shooting till the copyright suit filed against it is pending and hence, the production on the Hindi remake of Drishyam 2 has been stalled indefinitely.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, May 8, 2021: Actor Sonu Sood, on Saturday, mourned the demise of a critically ill covid-19 patient whom he got airlifted in an air ambulance from Nagpur to Hyderabad a few days ago. The 25-year-old girl, Bharti, was shifted to Hyderabad's Apollo Hospital as she had lost almost 85-90 percent of her lungs due to Covid-19 which resulted in, she died on Friday. ## Taking to Twitter, Sonu Sood wrote, "Bharti, a young girl from Nagpur whom I airlifted on an air ambulance to Hyderabad passed away last night. She battled for her life on an ECMO machine for a month. My heart goes out to the family members and everyone who prayed for her. Wish I could save her. Los Angeles, May 8, 2021: A couple of days ago, Marvel Studios released a showreel that featured new glimpses and confirmed release dates for studios' forthcoming Phase 4 films coming in 2021, 2022, and 2023, including Captain Marvel 2, which is officially titled "The Marvels", referring to its multiple heroes with "Marvel" in their names. ## The sizzle reel didn't reveal much about "The Marvels" apart from a few glimpses, however, the studio did reveal a few hints in a recently released synopsis that teases a "cosmic adventure with Carol, Monica, and Kamala". The synopsis, which was posted on Marvel's website, says - ## "The Marvels will feature Brie Larson returning to the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. In the film, she'll be joined by Teyonah Parris, who was first introduced as adult Monica Rambeau in Marvel Studios' WandaVision, along with Iman Vellani, who will appear as Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ series of the same name". ## "Prepare to experience it and fly higher, further, and faster with the film, directed by Nia DaCosta!". "The Marvels" arrives in theaters on November 11, 2022. ## Apart from "The Marvels", Marvel Studio also revealed the title of Black Panther 2, which is now, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever". Mumbai, May 7, 2021: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again set an example for others as he has decided to donate money to the film industry workers who have suffered the most during the covid-19 pandemic. The actor will be donating Rs 1500 each to 25,000 workers of the Hindi film industry. ## Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari confirmed to ETimes, "We have sent Salman Khan a list of names of the people in need and he has agreed to deposit the money". ## Apart from donating money, Salman Khan recently distributed food packets to frontline warriors through his philanthropic initiative. The actor had started the initiative with Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal and they arranged meal kits for nearly 5,000 frontline workers which include police personnel and health care workers. ## Besides the above-mentioned initiatives, Salman Khan Films and Zee Studios recently announced that the revenues generated through the multiplatform release of Salman Khan starrer upcoming movie, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, will be used towards covid-19 relief. ## Last year too, the superstar had transferred funds into the accounts of daily wage workers from the film industry. In this process, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma have launched a campaign "In This Together" with an aim to raise funds towards Covid relief measures. ## The celebrity couple shared a video on Instagram where they made people aware of the fundraiser and asked them to donate. The total amount that the fundraiser wishes to raise INR 7 crore of which INR 2 crore has been donated by the couple itself.## The campaign "In This Together" will run for seven days on Ketto and the funds raised will be directed to ACT Grants who is the implementation partner for this campaign and has been extensively working towards providing oxygen, medical manpower, vaccination awareness, and telemedicine facilities during the covid-19 pandemic. ## Virat said, "We are going through an unprecedented time in the history of our country and our nation needs all of us to unite and save as many people as possible. In the letter, the production house has mentioned that the Hindi film industry has suffered a lot amidst the pandemic and it is necessary to start it at the earliest so that 'thousands of workers can start earning their livelihood again'.## Later, FWICE wrote a letter to the CM requesting him to consider YRF's request. Talking about the urgency of the members of the film industry getting vaccinated, the letter mentioned, "Vaccination is very important not only to fight the disease but also to fight against the dropping economy of the state".
