Edge No Longer Featured In The Intro Of WWE SmackDown
Orangeville, September 29 - It appears that WWE is gradually phasing out Edge from the company, as evidenced by his removal from the WWE SmackDown intro on September 8.
This significant change occurred shortly after WWE initially removed Edge from its active roster. While he was eventually added back to the roster, he is no longer considered an active star. The rationale behind this removal became apparent when Pro Wrestling Torch reported that Edge is expected to sign a deal with AEW to embark on a final run alongside Christian Cage.
Edge recently confirmed that his WWE contract is set to expire later this month. However, he did not confirm whether he intends to renew the contract, but reports suggest that he is not likely to do so.
Edge has dedicated the majority of his wrestling career to WWE and has made remarkable contributions since his television debut in 1998. His last match in WWE was against Sheamus on the August 18 edition of SmackDown.
Considering the developments unfolding, the likelihood of Edge making his debut in AEW at WrestleDream has significantly increased.
