Peddi Box Office: Just $500K Away From Breaking Ram Charan's 8-Year-Old North America Record

Six days into its theatrical run, Peddi has firmly established itself as one of the biggest box office performers in Ram Charan's career. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, the sports drama has not only posted impressive numbers worldwide but has also emerged as a strong force in overseas markets. With collections continuing to hold steady, the film is now on the verge of achieving a major milestone in North America. Within just six days of release, Peddi has grossed ₹261.23 crore worldwide and recovered an impressive ₹150+ crore share. With a breakeven target of ₹215 crore share, the film has already recovered 69.8% of its investment and is firmly on track to enter the profit zone by its second weekend.While the domestic performance has been strong, the overseas market is where an even more interesting story is unfolding. The Rajamouli blockbuster remains the undisputed king of Ram Charan's filmography overseas and continues to rank among the biggest Telugu films ever released in North America. The real battle is for the second position, and Peddi appears to have one hand firmly on that spot already. As the film heads into its second weekend, two milestones are now within reach. The first is breakeven, which could be achieved in the coming days if the current trend continues. The second is the North American record among Ram Charan's solo films, a crown that Rangasthalam has worn since 2018. If Peddi maintains momentum over the weekend, Ram Charan may soon have a new overseas champion in his solo filmography.
