Yash Raj Films Finalizes A New Release Date For Ranbir Kapoor-Fronted 'Shamshera'

Mumbai, February 11 - Aditya Chopra headed Yash Raj Films has finalized a new release date for Ranbir Kapoor-fronted period action-drama film, "Shamshera".

"Shamshera", directed by Karan Malhotra, was supposed to release on March 18 this year. However, with that is already booked by multiple biggies, "Shamshera" will now hit screens on July 22, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Yash Raj Films took to Twitter and shared a release date announcement teaser, captioning, "A legend will rise on 22nd July".

"Shamshera" is one of the few Bollywood movies that is ready for release for a long time now. It was initially announced for the 2020 release, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the release date was pushed to June 2021, and then on March 2022.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Shamshera" also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt along with Ashutosh Rana playing the antagonist.
