Nani And Vijay Sethupathi To Join Adivi Sesh In Third Installment of 'Hit' Franchise?

Hyderabad, November 12 - The much-awaited sequel to Vishwak Sen's crime action thriller, "HIT - The First Case" - HIT: The Second Case is getting ready to release in theaters on December 2 with Adivi Sesh replacing Sen in the lead role. ## Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the first film in the series was a success which led to the foundation for its sequel, and now, the makers to willing to make it a 7-part film franchise with a new protagonist in each film. Hanuman Teaser: An Ambitious Attempt At India's Original Superhero

Hyderabad, November 21 - Tollywood filmmaker Prasanth Varma's next HanuMan with actor Teja Sajja is in post-production. The shoot of the movie was done a long time back but due to the heavy VFX, the post-production work is taking a bit longer time than expected.## Meanwhile, as the post-production is happening, the makers released the first teaser of the superhero movie, which is based on the epic character of the epic Ramayana, Lord Hanuman, but the story is based on current times. The teaser gives a brief view into the world created by Varma, and it can be termed an ambitious attempt at India's original superhero.## Made on a relatively lower budget than other VFX-heavy films, the "HanuMan" teaser is nothing short of a visual extravaganza. Tollywood Producers Failed To Follow Their Own Rules Regarding OTT Release

Hyderabad, November 14 - The OTT platforms have been on the rise since the covid-19 pandemic and they have also caused threats to the theatrical biz, especially the low and medium-budgeted films. To save small films, the Tollywood film industry recently announced some rules regarding post-theatrical OTT releases.## The Tollywood producers decided in August this year that all producers must hold their theatrical movies for at least weeks before releasing them on digital platforms. It was a welcome move from the producers' council and was lauded by the filmmakers. ## Despite the big promises, it seems the Telugu producers have forgotten their own rules regarding OTT releases, making a mockery of the so-called unity in the Producers council. Since the rule has come into effect, there have many films that haven't followed the 6-week rule. ## Movies like Swathi Muthyam and Ori Devuda were released on OTT within 3 weeks. Nagarjuna Akkineni's "The Ghost" too didn't follow the rule and was available to stream on the digital platform within 4 weeks. Telugu Producers Council Asks Producer Dil Raju To Not Prioritise Tamil Movie In Telugu States

Hyderabad, November 13 - Thalapathy Vijay's family action drama film Varisu/Vaarasudu is unlikely to get a big release in Telugu states despite the film being directed by senior and one of the biggest Telugu producers Dil Raju. ## "Varisu" is a Tamil movie that will also release in Telugu as "Vaarasudu". RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Becomes The 3rd Highest-Grossing Indian Film

Tokyo, November 7 - SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has become the third highest-grossing Indian film at the Japan box office, crossing Aamir Khan's comedy-drama "3 Idiots". ## The Jr. NTR and Ram Charan-starrer completed 17 days at the Japan box office and crossed the 10 crores mark. It grossed ¥185 million (Rs. 10.34 crores) through the third Sunday. "3 Idiots" grossed ¥170 million in its lifetime run in Japan and is now slipped to 4th position. ## The period action drama film also scored 122K footfalls in Japan in 17 days. The movie has been running on 209 screens, including 31 IMAX screens across 44 locations. RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Scores The Biggest First Week For An Indian Movie

Tokyo, October 29 - SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR scored the biggest ever first-week collections at the Japan box office for an Indian movie. ## The period action drama film, which grossed over 1100 crores worldwide in its initial run at the worldwide box office, was released in Japan on October 21 on over 209 screens, including 31 IMAX screens across 44 locations. ## According to Variety, the big-screen spectacle grossed JPY73 million ($495K or Rs. 4.05 crores), making it the highest first-week collection for an Indian film in Japan. It opened at No. 10 and the top nine films were all local Japanese films. "RRR" was the highest-grossing non-Japanese film of this week. ## The website reported that "RRR" will recover its total release cost and will enter into a profit zone within 10 days or during the second weekend. RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Clocks A Good Opening Weekend

Tokyo, October 24 - SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has had a good debut at the Japan box office, grossing approx. ¥65 million (Rs. 3.61 crores) in the opening weekend.## The movie was carrying big anticipation among the Japanese audience and the presence of Rajamaouli along with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan further raised the excitement. It opened at Rs. 1.06 crore which is the biggest for an Indian movie in Japan. ## "RRR" did see some growth on the second day for approx. Rs. 1.33 crores, followed by approx. Rs. 1.22 crores on Sunday.
